Oh this is perfect timing! I've been researching home ec/life skills topics and how to make it a course for my 11th grader. Can't wait to look at this!
This looks great and can't wait to try it out when my kids are a little older. I love your page as my kids are getting closer to high school. You are a wealth of information and so encouraging to those of us that are nervous for the upcoming high school years.
I was wondering what your daughter thought of the June SAT? I think you said she was using the Prepscholar program and I was wondering what she thought? Your course looks amazing!
She thought the math portion was the hardest. She specifically mentioned that several questions were on math concepts she didn’t remember ever seeing before (which surprised me). We get her results in a few weeks and I think we’ll be able to give a more accurate review once we know how she did
I think it can be independently. Just check ahead for needed supplies/ingredients but the whole idea of the course is to help them become independent adults.
I believe all the other employment, job application info should be fairly universal. I don’t know enough about how other countries approach banking, home and car ownership and retirement plans to answer on those The majority of the other topics and activities from the suggested readings and videos should be appropriate for many
This is perfect for us. Do you have a timeline on the mental health class you also talked about doing?
I'm hoping for early fall (September?). I'm working on it as I have time but this summer has been crazy busy. I'll keep you all posted though!
This looks amazing! Definitely will be purchasing for my upcoming 9th and 10 graders. Thank you! 👍🏼👍🏼
This is wonderful! Thank you for putting it all together and sharing it for others to use 😊

I like how it’s laid out similar to Guest Hollow! My teens need this!

Yay! Thank you!
This sounds amazing!! I know you are doing this with your 11th/12th graders. Do you think 10th grade is too young?
Not at all! I’m pretty sure any high schooler should be able to do everything that is included
I bought it and it looks fantastic! Its exactly what I was looking for. Thank you.
Hope you enjoy it!

@@mypracticallyimperfectlife Thank you for your reply. I hope she'll be happy with her score and I look forward to your review.
Where do I find the link to purchase the Life Skills?
The link to my shop is listed in the description box. But here it is for you: www.buymeacoffee.com/practicallyimperfectlife
This is awesome
Can the kids do this fairly independently or is it to be done alongside a parent?
I think it can be independently. Just check ahead for needed supplies/ingredients but the whole idea of the course is to help them become independent adults.
obviously the taxes are American based, how many subjects are more generic that would apply to others living anywhere not in the U.S.?
