@@DarlingsDomain Italians hate it when the sauce lies on the dry pasta, and I think they know it better.
Yeah I would definitely finish the pasta in the sauce. Probably a bit less tomato paste and then some pasta water to make everything come together.
If everyone did the same, there would never be any new/different recipes! Make it your way and enjoy!
@giullaume agreed, always mix the pasta through the sauce then add extra sauce on top.
I can't take any recipe seriously when you don't mix some of the sauce with the pasta. Serving dry pasta with sauce on top should be illegal.
Would you believe when I was younger, the thought of the pasta and sauce being mixed together would make me cringe!! I guess I never grew up haha
