You're very right about getting that verse lick in muscle memory - I just played it a bunch of times, set and forget.
This is literally my favorite part of the song.
5th grade when this came out. Still love it, just as much. Ear tickler.
Thank you Paul for posting this. Brilliant.
Brilliant tutorial. Thank you so much.
Great tutorial doood!! Very well explained and display of playing all the riffs. Thank you! BLoo
Thanks so much for clearly showing the different parts and dissecting the intro section. Excellent work!
You are THE best ! Thanks, I love this song.
thanks man this is great
Excellent! Insane woodsheding to get to where you are.
thanks for the lessonGreat stuff really sounds so good
Amazing!
Love it, thanks for taking the time. Never thought I'd get guitar lessons from David Beckham ;-) I all seriousness though, much appreciated.
BTW That is an A#7 not B7,great lesson as you go through the song in its entirety, not just the opening riff like most channels
the only one i have seen who gets it all right and all in one guitar without having 4 different overlays!! well done sir
Great lesson man. Thanks :)

Easy and good lesson thanks man!

Great lesson, nicely covered.
Funky!! Thanks for the lesson
nailed it, thanks, time to funk
Great video 👍🏻
This guy good he break it down
This will take me a long time to learn properly. Gonna have to play a simpler version in our band until I've nailed this
You have a lot of talent, and a Sonic blue Stratocaster is the perfect foil for this lesson.
Time to learn this
Great tab. Shocking instruction delivery
Great lesson but I'm not sure you realised you said B7 instead of Bb7
Finest
dynamite lesson. you are the dude!
Well done
🤘🔥🤘🔥
about 13.44 very james brown funky vibe and slide up/down
Its really good I just can't find out how to play the chords near the 7th fret
Really cool tutp.. Wonder if this was Lennon , Carlos Alomar or Earl Slick playing those funk licks?
F7#9 this is the name of that chord ;)
Ps ur a great guitarist
@19;11 THATS AN f7 1ST INVERSION
🎼🎼🎶👻👍👏👋
Is there a tab for this?
is that an american stratocaster?
did you found the name of the guitar model?
Oh James Brown. Still good Coke. Like the Polar bear of course.
Did anyone picture this guy - 60 years old with long black hair before you saw his face?
Don’t wack it obviously
not enough explanation of the nuanced lick at the beginning
John Lennon played on this song.
James Brown? Shirley not!
Unless you're going to play in Bowie's band no sense learning this , too complicated
Go outside nerd
Total Jeff Beck Ripoff but poppy and Cute. I bet the Guitar dude was showing it. Then Wham. Good Coke.
