- American Reacts to The Two Ronnies Round of Drinks
I react to a skit from the Two Ronnies although this go round it is only Ronnie Barker. A round of drink orders are made with hilarious results.

Ronnie Barker was a master of word play. This would be another sketch he wrote him self
Brilliant
What a lovely bloke our American friend is - so good to see his out of control enjoyment of our best entertainment.
What an infectious laugh
Genius really isn't enough to describe Ronnie Barker.
I just love the way our American friend gets and enjoys British humour!!
It’s great to watch him genuinely laughing out loud!
In the past I have enjoyed and appreciated US comedies like Rhonda and The Golden Girls...further back I loved to watch shows like George Burns and Gracie Allen....
The genius of The Two Ronnies. Absoultely loved them. They had a way with words!
Genius at work. God rest them both, they're sorely missed.
Having worked years in pubs in can say with confidence this actually happens in real life 👀😂
It's probably where he got it from.
This stuff is pure gold. They were probably the best & most loved comedians In British tv history.
Two Ronnies have so many good sketches, “Squash”, “swear box” “crossed lines” and any with Charlie & Bert
The best Charlie & Bert sketch I believe isn’t on RUclips, but can be found on Daily Motion.
Les Dawson was a genius in the same genre.
You forget how good those guys where at word play.
Being from the 70`s, we grew up on this. It was just funny, little did we know the genius we were watching and how comedic skill and timing would decrease so much in modern entertainment, even cause offence. The writing here and the performance are just unbelievable, to get something so progressively wrong so perfectly in what appears to be a single take is mind numbing.
Brilliant sketch. You'd love their crossed lines sketch
That is a fantastic recommendation
Absolutely hilarious! I hadn't seen this for years and it had me crying with laughter. To see you enjoy it so much too, is testament to British Comedy
Get rid of canned laughter, this guy's laugh is the real deal - outstanding! Keep up the good work, you cheer up a dull day.
This is one of my favourite sketches of theirs. Ronnie Barker was a genius with word play.
If you like Ronnie Barker, you should watch "Porridge", my all-time favourite sitcom.
One of the things you missed was when the barman began giving him gins without him asking.
I just adored the Two Ronnies. Grew up watching them. Pure joy. I love your reaction to these clips. You are such fun to watch. Thanks.
Do you remember ‘open all hours’, with Ronnie barker , now that was funny hahaha
An entire episode featured on the channel a few weeks ago
This show the difference between comedy in the UK and US in the 1970s
Since watching EB reactions I’ve gone back and watched Only fools and horses and Bottom from the beginning. Brilliant. 🏴🇬🇧
One of my all time favourite Two Ronnies sketches. Pure comic genius and the timing is phenomenal.
"It's not two Ronnie's, it's one Ronnie, but it's too funny"
Nice pun Dean 👍
Not seen this for years. Genius word play. Wrote to Ronnie B years ago and he wrote back with a signed photograph. A much treasured item.
Ronnie Barker was a legend
Ronnie Barker was a British comedy leg end, watch Porridge, Clarence, Open all hours, The magnificent Evans, Seven of One. Six dates with Barker, The Very best of Barker and of course the Two Ronnies. Also HE did radio plays such as The Navy Lark.
I realise now how lucky I was to have grown up watching this stuff back in the day 😊
Ronnie Barker the genius of comedy. That's a great sketch. Haven't seen it for a long time. Your laugh is hilarious. 👍😂
I seem to laugh at you laughing more than anything, you have a really contagious laugh!
A lot of these scetches were writen by Gerald Wiley, eventualy it was found that this was a pen name used by Ronnie Barker :)
I don't think that I've seen this since the early 80's. I'm surprised my parents let me watch it.
Yeh but we weren’t so flaky then.
Different generations, loved it as a kid.
@@patrickwaldron4091 loved but didn't really understand. That actually got me back to the grandparents farmhouse. Toast cooked on the fire, watching bullseye, the two ronnie's and Tales Of The Unexpected (royal jelly specifically). Sunday night entertainment.
@@markarmour1898 OMG! I remember that Tales of the Unexpected episode with the Royal Jelly. Was only a kid at the time & it really freaked me out. Vaguely remember one about Mrs Hitler too! 🤷♂️
@Mark Armour With only 3 or 4 channels and only one TV you watched what you parents watched until bed time. Plus if it was before 9pm parents where sure that it would be fine for children to watch who where allowed to stay up that late.
This is one of my all time favourite sketches. I was laughing along with you 😂
Ronnie Barker was a genius!!
And most of the scene done in one take.genius.
If you watch carefully it's not done in 1 take 👉🇬🇧👈
its great to see you take onboard and appreciate this british comedy and culture, despite our preconceived tag of having a stiff upper lip we do like a bloody good laugh :)
As always, the two Ronnie's never failed to deliver, they were priceless and as always, you're reaction is brilliant, thanks for the clip 😀
Great to watch old favourites through new eyes. Thank you American friend.
Brilliant as always. I recommend Fry and Laurie - The understanding barman
How about "absolutely any sketch from A Bit Of Fry & Laurie"?
@@TallSilentGuy Agreed! Buy as this Two Ronnies sketch was set in a pub, it reminded me of that one
yes!!! I can't believe you've reacted to one I requested :) my favourite sketch of theirs
So enjoyed you enjoying the late great Ronnie Barker
Just so funny 🤣
I knew a bloke who would do this in bars he'd never been in before as a wind-up on the bar staff. It was beyond funny.
RONNIE TO BARMAN: And also, a glass of Oxo beef stock for yourself, lol
Thanks for making me laugh, it really is the best medicine, i grew up watching The two Ronnies amongst other iconic comedians of the 70/80, your enjoyment and laughter are a perfect compliment,
Two Ronnies did a sketch series called "The Worm That Turned". Oddly topical now I think
Loving these vids
I was a kid when these were on TV
Can remember sitting with my parents and some of these sketches would seem rude to me😅😅😅
Loved the phantom raspberry blower 😅😅
I even thought that's rude 😂😂😂
I loved the phantom raspberry blower. 👍🏻
Must have been early middle school 😂
I can't remember but I know it was a big deal back in the day
Our teachers must have hated it 😅😅
Can't remember the show really, but the raspberry blower must have been a recurring sketch, like four kandles 😂😂😂 and the lumberjack song 🤣🤣
The phantom raspberry blower of olde London Town....
@@matthewmeakins6474 The blower went on for the whole series that year, as did the Piggy Malone, and other skits that have been lost to this 66-year-old mind. I loved the singing skits and RC sitting that massive chair and telling really old jokes.
He was like an uncle when he sat on the chair talking to the camera,
Apart from the collars, he's still very fashionable
Ronnie Barker Legend. Ended up owning an antique shop
"Never fails. Never fails!" - Charles Hawtrey
Ronnie Barker was also a prolific and lauded writer, often penning scripts under pseudonyms so that they would be judged on their own merit rather than his stardom. He is best known for The Two Ronnies sketch show and sitcoms including Open All Hours and Porridge.
It warms my cold heart anytime I see Americans enjoying old English TV/Humor. There is a lot to love there and it almost feels forgotten here in the UK these days. Plus we are taught you guys don't get our humor. So I find it a wonderful thing that, actually some of you do. Probably a stereo-type. You can let me know.
Man I've watched alot of your reactions to British humour and your laugh is fantastic!
Great review EB👍the Ronnie's are legends and glad you liked this one✌️🇬🇧✌️🇺🇸🍻🍻
A good 2 Ronnies that has both is the man who repeats things sketch
Saturday nights watching The Two Ronnies in the 80’s was awesome!
it was such a loss when Ronnie Barker died, we had such large group of comedians I met Ronnie Barker in a shop one day long ago. morcambe and wise were another pair like the 2 ronnies, Eric morcambe would make you laugh out loud by just the looks he gave
The talent he has to be able to get through all of that
These two were wonderful comedians 🙏 and your laugh is amazing, 👍🤗 thankyou for making me smile!!
The fact he gets more and more pissed is just beautiful 😂
You have now met the comedy geniuses
I remember watching this thinking, just write it down 😂
SO glad you enjoy British comedy EB. Good choice of reactions btw . All the best from 🏴
The funniest part of this is I have seen all these before (English TV featured very heavily in NZ) so I know what is coming and I'm waiting on your reaction AND that NEVER disappoints. GOLD.
Tonally love your reaction vids!!!
These two were the best comedy around when i was growing up.
i love your reactions, you're a very cheerful chap, I really enjoy your posts.
Comedy Legend Ronnie Barker
Professor Ronnie Barker. Master of the delivery of Words.
Love watching your videos! This one is a classic, starting quickly with "If there's room in the glass!". Can recommend "The Opticians" sketch if you or a subscriber can get hold of it.
Your laugh makes me laugh!
Absolutely brilliant sketch 😅
So funny unlike many comedy shows today.
A Liverpool fan and a Yorkshire flag! A man after my own heart!
I think I've just worked out why I like this guy so much, it's because he does the wally laugh. There's a brilliant bit that Billy Connelly does where he's talking about himself bursting out laughing at a item on the menu called potatoes of the night and how your true laugh is a wally laugh. And this guy does that laughter.
Love this channel dude :-)
A sneaky little reference to "four candles" there , happy healthy peace ❤
It's great to see you enjoying one of our best ever comedy character actors.
The man was a GENIUS
the 2 ronnies were legendary
Does anyone remember Charley Farley and Piggy Malone? I used to watch these with my Nan and Grandad. Classic stuff!
Yeah I remember that and the phantom raspberry blower of London town.
Stop, You’re Killing Me!
Love the conflused...
Oh yes .. always loved this one! ‘Shifty boobs’ … makes me laugh every time.
Hi. If you like this then it may be worth watching " Dinner for One." It a scene that lots of Europeans watch every Christmas day.
Well I've just been down a dinner for one 40 minute rabbit hole! Enjoyable though, thanks
EB hahaha forgot this one. He was a national treasure, one of the smartest and funniest comedians ever seen. 'Ice and lemon?' 'Yes if there's room in the glass' !
Priceless Al, way tooo funny!!
One of their best sketches.
Hello eclectic beard,I'm back again, (alasdair)so nice to see you still having a good laugh, at all walks of life, the 2 Ronnie's are just something else's, brilliant minds, such a good and innocent laugh just what the world ordered, I wouldn't like to be the barman counting my till afterwards 🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍
"I TOLD you I'd get you a great deal!"
My friend your laughing is amazing 👍👏 happiness will cure all
'Is that mine'!🤪
The bar man would have cut him off long before the props 🤣
What a laugh. And what a laugh👍
Yes. My favourite 2 Ronnie's sketch
Yes, and we all have been there once or twice in life.
I've never seen this sketch before either but as a British person I do know Ronnie Barker was a master word play comedian.
Ps
I watched your video on English regional accents and you were wondering how to pronounce Geordie, I’m from Newcastle which makes me a Geordie and it pronounced Jaw Dee lol,
The girl on the clip is from little mix and she like all of us Geordies was talking in clear English which we do to be understood when talking to someone from outside of Newcastle so you only get a flavour lol, anyway loving the videos and I enjoy laughing with you 😂
I love the way he gets more dunk and gets it more and more spectacularly wrong
The two ronnies- ‘simpkins’ so funny
I'm so glad you like the Two Ronnies 🙂
Great reaction to two comedy legends
"Either one of these?"
Have you seen little Ronnie Corbett, in the big chair telling stories, yet?
