What a sketch, no swearing, no sex, no racism, just good old fashioned humour. We miss you two so much.
There was a lot of seaside smutty stuff actually, and the Producers actually admitted they couldn't believe they got away with it then in a documentary a saw a few years ago. Some of the scantily clad women as a teenage boy was essential viewing for me. Granted it wasn't in all their stuff but it did happen.
You cannot beat the Golden oldies.
Dude, your laugh is incredible. Cant beat a good hearty laugh.
The genius of the two Ronnies was they always laughed with not at their caricatures.
Ronnie Barker(the tall one) was an absolute comedy genius. The way he wrote the sketches, working the comedy timing to perfection, and the life he breathed into the characters he created was legendary. The two Ronnies four candles sketch is probably the king of them all. (I think you have done a reaction to that one). Also worth a look is The two Ronnies Mastermind sketch.
The Two Ronnies was all about the dialogue. It was very well written, much better than anything today. My dad is 79 and it’s one of the only things that still makes him laugh. We watched this and he was laughing at you laughing at them!
Thanks for that. Between the Two Ronnies and your infectious laughter, I'll be smiling for the rest of the day.
I swear this is true, Around 30 years ago, just after Christmas, I walked into an unfamiliar pub, and sat at the bar drinking my pint, the Landlord was busy tidying around, and someone popped their head in the door "Ello, Pete, has old Harry been in at all?" The landlord told the man he hadn't. Within the space of the next two hours, several men popped in to ask the same question, "Has old Harry been in at all?" Eventually "Pete" the landlord asked one of the men why he was looking for "old Harry"?
The man told "Pete" "That bugger ruined our Christmas, and he bloody owes me!" Oh say's Pete, what's the old sod been up to now then?" The man asked Pete if he remembered that old Harry was selling fresh boxes of Turkeys just before Christmas, for a really good price. Yes say's Pete, he sold a few in here, I didn't buy one, as my Mrs had already got ours in, why, what was wrong with the Turkey's then? This man replied, "They weren't bloody Turkeys Pete!, at best they was bloody Seagulls! I bought one for my family, and another for my Brother, and when he got home, his Seagull had only one bloody leg!" It remains to this day the funniest thing I have ever heard in a pub, and always wondered if they ever caught up with "Old Harry", lol.
Not quite the same but the funniest thing in Our local was when a newcomer asked for a pint..he had a distinct nasal lisp...The in comes "Golly"...our resident speech impaired bloke, who asked for a pint..The newcomer swivlled round and said "Are you taking the pish?" "No..you're taking the pisst"..this went on until the jackets came off..Landlord , enjoying it hughly had to say "Take it outside lads" The pub emptied!
To see an American react to the 2 Ronnies in the way you do is awesome you truly show what a great laugh can achieve.
its great to see somebody actually adding something to these "reaction" videos rather than just sitting there pulling faces ,or talking garbage. Well done mate...keep it up
The two Ronnies were such comic geniuses, the entire scene is built to get you greyhound punchline.
Eclectic .. You laughing makes my day.. Your laugh is as funny as the comedy you watch! 😆👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
I forgot about this one. Brilliant to see again
Only watched this sketch yesterday, brilliant! I think you'd like "carry on up the khyber" dinner party scene 👍
Easy to forget the genius of those two. Thanks for sharing these sketches, decades old but still light years ahead of any current comedians.
"And it quacks!" - one of the best ad-libs out there...
Even the duck had a good sense of comic timing 😂😂
Psst, the duck didn't quack, that was in the script...
@@ronnieb1837 Aw no! Another childhood pillar topples! 😁
@@examinerian Sorry! Life goes on lol. I miss watching The Two Ronnies with my brother and parents...
in case you missed it, the reference to the back of a "Teddy Boys Head" is about the hair style they had, the hair was combed back on both sides of the head to a point at the nape of the neck, it looked like a ducks tail,, or a ducks arse :)
I suppose in the States it's the same style as a Rockabilly would wear. With a quiff that tails down to a point at the back.🦆
A D.A.
@@johnboy2562 thats the one :)
It was called D.A. For short
Loved the Two Ronnies SO MUCH - always fun - and so sharp
An Argentinian racing greyhound! Who maybe a carrier Yorkshire terrier!🤣TWO RONNIES GOLD! Another great reaction.🇬🇧
A brilliant reaction to a brilliant sketch. Kudos sir, kudos! 👍👍👍
You never fail to improve my day, I howled laughing at your 'Whoop' when he said his name was Donald... take care and love to the family. 👍
Dave Allen teaching how to tell the time, you'll fall off your chair. Thanks for your channel
Oh god, I agree
Crying with laughter here at these two comedy legends!
Love more of these sketches Al!
They were, and still are wonderful. This was our national treat on 1970s and 80s Saturday nights. Genius.
This is one of the few Ronnies sketches that's still funny after repeated viewings, and that hasn't aged badly.
Your reactions, particularly to the Two Ronnies sketches, are essential viewing for me, especially when I'm not feeling that great and need cheering up! They never fail to make me chuckle. I invariably watch them in preference to the original sketches. Here's a little something to say thank you very much.
Absolutely comedie gold.... So many more British classics to see.
Billy Connolly's the "incontinence pants" is fabulous ♥ 😍 👌 😀
The Two Ronnies were very much like Laurel and Hardy; Ronnie Barker was the writer of many of the sketches just as Stan Laurel was the ideas man of the team but, more importantly, both pairs complemented each other perfectly and produced some never to forget utterly timeless moments.
Absolutely hilarious 🤣 electric beards reactions had me in stitches 🤣
There's a few cracking scenes in Still Game that are worth a watch. The bogus gas man gets me every time.
@@RussEdgar445y7tlfj Standard Hermes practice :)
Used to watch them on a weekend as a kid , never gets old 😂
So... remember the Only Fool's and Horses sketch you reviewed, with David Jason falling through the bar? Well, he got together with Ronnie Barker (the big one) and did a series called Open All Hours... You'll love it.
Thanks for brightening my day. Your reactions & laughter are a pure joy & never fail to put a smile on my face. Love from the UK
British comedy at its best
I laughed at this the first time round . I laughed even more at you laughing at it. Good therapy pal : )
need a hanker chief to watch them, they make you laugh so much. how the hell do they keep their straight faces. absolutely classic
Hope you and your family are having a fantastic Easter! Videos are great, keep 'em coming!
Brilliant 😂 the old ones are the best. Thanks for the laughs.
Great comedy duo!!
Loved them.
Brilliant...just so smart their humour. Love your reactions, genuine hearty laughter - thanks for that!
Literally the best youtuber for reactions your laugh makes me cry so much
Very appropriate for Easter these two who were quackers and little Ron's champion egg laying racing chicken.
Well done eb, another comedy classic from two of Englands finest legends. What ever these two get up to your guaranteed side splitting laughter. 😂😅
I think watching you react to this is almost as funny as the skit itself.Well done, these two guys are comedy geniuses, you need to see more of them.
I haven't seen this sketch in absolute years, so funny!
I'm not sure if this has ever been explained to you, but the insult one of them said, which was 'berk', is actually cockney rhyming slang and it is short for 'Berkley hunt' 😂
well you learn something new everyday
It was on tv late last night.
I'm British and I didn't know that! I'm going to call more people berks now 🤣
Hahaha I'm Scottish and never knew that
I best stop teaching my kids 'berk' :D
Two of the funniest guys I've ever had the pleasure of watching, ( god bless that laughter sir ), keep on doing what you're doing.
Just found this one, I needed cheering up, and your laugh always does that, wish we had comedy like this now.
This, to my mind, is better than four candles, handles for forks. That is a better-crafted sketch. This sketch still lives with me today, and when I ever see a duck I say there goes an Argentinian Racing Pigeon. Also that the Argentinian Racing Pigeon Quacks at the end is quite beautiful. Love you both Ron's my childhood comedy heroes. Love and peace Adam x
Funny as hell...British comedy at its best ...and very innocent. I like the way you literally p#ss yourself laughing, makes me laugh even though I've seen this sketch many times 😆 🤣 😂
Happy Easter EB 👊👊 thanks for the great reaction vid as always 😁
The reference to the Teddy Boys haircut is that there is a similarity between the hairstyle of the Teddy Boy(they were a youth group in the 1950's in U.k. disapproved of by the "establishment and media) and the back end of a duck. The hairstyle swept back from the front of the head from the left and from the right and looked like the wings of a duck similarly swept back. Also known as a D.A. (not the america legal person) standing for Ducks *rse
I needed cheering up so watched this with you again, thanks for your laugh.
Thank you for posting and bringing back happy memories
re-watching my favourite comedy sketches, whilst watching your reactions, is actually so interesting that it makes me laugh at them again like I did the first time around. It’s a great idea. Btw: the Catherine tate Nan one you did, she’s dressed up as an older
Woman at the time she was 30. “What an ugly child?!” 😂
Clicked so fast on this video. Love the sketch and could not wait to hear that laugh. Wonderful😁
Brilliant EB, happy you find them funny like us Brits👍legends the pair of them, thank you for this during the Easter holidays, I hope you and your family had a great weekend. Cheers mate ✌️🇬🇧✌️🇺🇸🍻🍻
The two Ronnie's are just the best
You can spend a lifetime watching the two Ronnie's and never get bored, check out the swear box sketch, hilarious.
Thanks for reminding me of these classics I used to watch as a child. Cheer's 🇬🇧
Dude, your laugh is infectious. I love your vids and admire your fondness of British comedy 😀
Class act The two Ronnies 👏
It's not just the Two Ronnies that make it funny it's cleverly written too ! 😂😂😂👍✌️🇬🇧
This sketch was written by John Sullivan. He wrote Only Fools and Horses.
Mum theres a man at the door with a bill. Dont be stupid, that'll be a duck with a mac and hat on.
Another classic picked from the archives EB👍good man.
"And it quacks" had to have been an ad lib. Genius.
I recommend the two Ronnies the worm that turned.
Welcome back EB , HILARIOUS
Man i don’t know what’s funnier, the sketch or you laughing lol 👌👌👌
There is an English tv series set in the 1970's called Ashes to Ashes and Life on Mars...I think you would love it.Gene Hunt is the head of the police department...old school policing...This is one of his lines,"Do I look like toast?",No,"Then stop buttering me up."😂😂😂
I think that was remade for US. The ending was changed though. I think they woke up on Mars!
You ought to try to catch a whole show of theirs to get a flavour of 70's Saturday night.
Your laugh is so infectious I've had to subscribe thank you stay safe happy easter 😀😷✌👍
So good to see this again I've not seen it for at least 15 years. Two comics at their very best. You should take a look at Guy Martin doing the wall of death.
Happy Easter from the UK!,love watching classic comedy again, even better with you enjoying it too, your laugh is brilliant😃
Great stuff I loved that the duck quacked right on queue, brilliant!
Pretty much anything the two Ronnie's does it amazing, Mastermind, Two Candles the list of great sketches goes on.
Two candles is only half as funny as four candles. :)
@@elemar5 LMAO how did I manage that, I would edit it but that would ruin you response so I'll leave it! :)
The sketch was written by John Sullivan, who also wrote the popular long-running series Only Fools And Horses.
The mastermind sketch is classic, where Ronnie Corbet answers the question before.
EB when he said 'Donald' he had to turn his back as he was trying to hold it together, priceless
Never seen a bad two Ronnie's sketch
I literally come to your channel just to hear you laugh!!
It is actually Dead Parrot Sketch in reverse. In this case the owner thinks of all kinds of ways not to accept he was framed. Very clever!
Glad our American buddy is enjoying a bit of british humour. Good to see .
2:04 - “Berk” is Cockney Rhyming Slang. Berkshire Hunt. Surprisingly, it’s a commonplace term despite its origin.
You just cannot beat British Humour.
I can't remember this sketch but it is so funny and love watching your appreciation of it.
It's so sad that good humour has now been consigned to the past. Very funny :)
The joke about it's tail "looks like a teddy boys hair cut" refers to a haircut which was called a "D.A." or a "Ducks Arse".
Happy Easter to you and your family, with love and best wishes Victoria 🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏
They were brilliant every week .
Very funny. Enjoyed this alot
good to see an American who likes great comedy
Hi Aaron Geordie boy here glad you appreciate the Two Ronnies so much they are British treasures and you love their witty humour and the way use the English language which is so beautiful also regards

This is the most underrated sketch
Heheeeehahaaa…oh how I love these clips!…thank you so much 🤗
Absolute comedy gold, you really should check out Ronnie Barker in Porridge that was a national institution when I was growing up.
Nice one. The Two Ronnies never disappoint. 👍
Absolutely brilliant
If it quacks like a duck, it’s a duck 🤣🤣🤣
