Wurkkos HD01 Takes Aim at Olight and Misses

- Initial impressions of the new Wurkkos HD01. I go thought the funtions and compare it to the Olight Arkfeld Pro, which is what I think Wurkkos was aiming to compete with. I purchased all of these products with my own money, nothing has been supplied to me by the brands shown.

Hi there, I had to open it up to fix the rattle: ruclips.net/video/7TRiVa8A9lk/видео.html I think the HD01 is a bit "rough" around the edges and not quite there in terms of fit and finish were we usually see Sofirn/Wurkkos lights. The main gripe is the battery solution which makes it hard to find and replace a replacement cell once the LiPo goes down. I also miss a "direct to color"-mode on it, "direct to red" mostly although any color mix is on mode memory. Getting it adjusted to the primary colors is like a videogame. I am surprised by the power and light quality of the main LED and after using it on a few night shifts I quite like it.

At this point in my daily use, the little 40 dollar Wurkkos easily beats my Arkfeld. Why? the amazing versatility of that initially annoying 2 button UI. I have immediate access to Moonlight, a preselected 'medium,' Turbo, and Strobe - I ALSO have immediate use of the laser, sidelight in neutral white (at last level used), sidelight in color of my choice (last used), fake police light, and the oft-forgotten 'heartbeat' light that surrounds the buttons. Now here's the best part - the two button modes run INDEPENDENTLY. Why is that awesome? I can be pointing something out in a dark corner with my light, and then switch the laser on and off to point out details!! It's a project manager's wet dream.
Now if they can just get UV in there somewhere...

I’ve had mine for over a week and love it. Nothing rattles and it just works great. Lazer is powerful beyond what I can see, the colour led lights/features is cool but I’m more about the main light, side light, Lazer and using flood for red night vision. Form factor is what I love about my arkfeld and now this might be my favorite.
I have had mine for about a week and there is no rattle, there are artifacts for the laser (even after cleaning the lens) and interestingly the box has a big sticker over the specifications listing IPX8.

It is normal ou not.....i don't sure !
On this mine ....the battery is not move....it is normal on my light !
I paid 37 euros on aliexpress....
I will see in time if light is good quality !

I finally got my Wurkkos HD01, and to my surprise the internal components rattle around inside. It makes the light feel cheap and fragile. Has anyone else experienced this?
Return it. Sounds like a defect. Mines solid and so should yours. Get another one!!
@@shhhhsecrethaha I opened it up and fixed the rattle, found the magnets and added several (they are little stackable refrigerator magnets) and Wurkkos sent me a replacement AND a third flashlight for my trouble! This ended quite well and I am very pleased with the light.
