Yeah, I think it can be done but your idea is good. However, since I lost the light this point is mute for me. I already have the HD01pro in orange and will post a review soon!
Hi Buddy, looks like a quick but also pretty "final" solution, because it will not be easy to re-open it again with the hardened silicone in it. Maybe it would have been better to fit some stripes of foam in it? I also ask myself if there is any solution to open the front also or if at the front there is a "once klick in and never open again"-option... But nevertheless a fine and fast fixing. LG
Great fix! You also kind of improved water resistance from the back. Did you have the chance to pull a little bit more from the battery (before the video) to see how is it connected? I'm afraid to pull harder and cut some cables or short circuit something
On video is the first time he opened it. I personally wouldn't be messing with the battery unless Wurkkos sent a new unit specially for a teardown video.
You did it Sir! ✅
I wish they used a normal cell, this will become a throwaway to a lot of people.
It becomes more of a trend in flashlights. I have a Olight I would not even know how to disassemble. No way to really get in.
I would put a piece of folded paper in there...Removing the siliconen will be a pain in the ass someday 😢😂

Thank you, I think it is possible to break the acrylic silicone seal easy enough though. I shall see ;-)
It was what I’d call an irreversible bodge, that magnetic cap ain’t coming out again that’s for sure, glued in tight 🤦♂️
@@danjackson140 oh, it would come out had I not lost the light since ;-)

I would think there is a connector inside like on many LiPo: Plug and play. However, I did not take the battery out.
Tnx 👍
Thanks for the info. I pinned your comment on my video so others can fix it if they choose to. I will be doing what you did. Thanks again.
Nice
Not getting it. I cant stand the rattle. I have 2 lights like that already so thank you for the info
