    This video has been very helpful! This is the first time I'm coming back to this video after watching it once already, and I already know it won't be the last. I love that it was short and too the point so I didn't have to watch through a bunch of random content that doesn't tell me what I need.     Omg I didn't know it was so easy. I've been importing images through File > Open. But the image kept opening up as background layer on a new canvas. Tutorials on Google made it more confusing. Thanks so much for this!

    Wow thank you soooooo much. I was about to loose my mind. I was following along some of the other ppl videos and most of theml gave the same method for importing using the Pin tool, but when I added my image all my layers were behind it. I couldn't trace. I was determined to find another method. So thank you for this video and for saving my sanity! lol.

    I have one question: when I try to open a picture as a layer that is larger than my original project it does not open the whole picture but only the section that fits into the project... even if I try to resize the layer, the rest of the picture is missing.
    How can I open layers that are larger than my project?
