Truly poetic video, Eric, and I'm glad that you crashed Dan's father-son backpack party just so you could show the RUclips world the views. Thank You, most of all, for showing that there is still beauty and hiking available after all the devastation of the Eagle Creek Fire in the Columbia River Gorge...

Wow! Absolutely amazing video. The camera angles, narration, music, scenery was all top notch. I kept reminding myself that I was watching Eric Hanson's RUclips channel and not a multi million dollar wildlife documentary. If it was you who did the final editing, give yourself a pat on the back. If someone else, give it to them. Amazing. Looking forward to more episodes.

Gorgeous video! The music & editing gave it such a good vibe to match the forest- tranquil, peaceful, but with a somber or even melancholy undercurrent as well. The brief interludes of just normal conversations gave it all great structure. 10/10 would use it as a background for an evening blunt again

I was looking for a Bridger 65 but they only had the 45 in stock at $154. I really want to get my hands on a 65 in person but I dont see that happening, I can't find any local. The 45 felt great, but being a heavy sweat person in the heat I was worried about lack of airflow on my back but I think it will work. I was leaning to the atmos or baltoro for that reason but this 45 has minimal contact with my back. As long as the 65 is similar I should be good to go.
