I didn't realise Infernape got access to it in Legends: Arceus too. Felt like an exclusive Arcanine move - but yeah, Rock Head + recoil is superior in every way.
I really like Raging Furys animation, it looks very cool but the problem is the move itself is rather restricting. You can't just click it anytime you want or need too, otherwise you are either locked into it and a resist just comes in afterwards and takes you out or you have to let something that you could have taken out with it live because you don't want to lock yourself into the move at that moment. Thats why people use Flare Blitz, its got the same power but doesn't lock you into it, gives you some recoil but thats fine. Still cool to see someone using Raging Fury effectively
Raging Fury honestly feels like it could be based on Ash's Infernape in the Pokemon anime, which sometimes went into uncontrollable outrages where its flames become explosively large. In the show, this is actually meant to be caused by its ability Blaze, but the idea behind it and the animation in the scenes where Infernape (or its pre-evolutions) loses control feel pretty reminiscent of Raging Fury.
Tbf altaria had no chance against dragonite comparison. What was the other common dragon im gen3 Thats the one. Like heracross + pinsir makes just sense since they kinda have same purpose. Wouldn't a persim berry possibly be better than a Lum? That way if you get another status you don't end up using the berry when you don't want it to be used.
Any chance you could do a doubles team that exclusively uses Pokemon with weather-setting abilities and heavy use of weather ball? It could make for some funny mind games and shenanigans.
2 years since the game came out but haven't seen anyone else ask this question, what was your final team in SV pre-dlc? everyone's team is different and its interesting to learn about what everyone chose to beat the champion with

Flare blitz is just objectively better than Raging Fury. Notice that Physical Normal types often always use Double-edge over Thrash. When I saw the infernape video notification I was honestly expecting a specially bulky slack off set with bulk up and stabs, seemed more innovative and unique imo.
Even tho raging Fury looks awesome infernape getting victory dance would have Been way better But a physical volcarona with better stabs looks too scary Game freak have tendancy to not allow the old threats to emerge again once they fall There is a reason why all the pseudo dragons gets dragon dance but not garchomp

There's actually a pretty nice irony in infernape's moveset. The move that it learns just before learning Raging Fury, is Calm Mind.
A few levels after learning Calm Mind: "Fuck this shit, I'm out." 😹
So a special attacking Infernape otw 😅
@L0c03 nasty plot better for Special infernape
The calm before the storm...or something like that.
11:00 "The juice ain't worth the squeeze." Haydunn introducing me to some of the best lines.

annihilape does not need to be buffed any further
At least it gets Outrage...

Throat spray scizor?! Oh I gotta see this
Infernape is my favorite Fire/Fighting type. Thanks for this!
“GET HIT WIT ALLA DAT” - shofu 😂
Special attacking Scizor.... I have now seen it all
Happy Near Year, Haydunn! I hope your 400k goal is hit this year. Nice Raging Ape set
1:35 😂😂 You wild bro
🤣🤣🤣
Lmao didn't catch that the first time. 😂
Came here to make this comment 😆😆😆
Damn that’s blissy making me feel a certain kind of way 🥴
☠️ 💔
Happy new year Haydunn! Can’t wait for another year of watching and falling even more in love with you ❤
Finally, he’s covering my first ever starter and my second favorite Pokémon! Thank you!
I have been waiting for this vid to drop for the better part of a year. I am so unbelievably hyped rn.
I know Flare Blitz is better for Incineroar, but I wished he got Raging Fury because it's fitting for Incineroar. I was surprised he didn't get it.
Can’t wait to see that special Scizor video!!! If anyone can make it work it’s you! 😂
Why I came hunting in the comments
Im sorry did you just call Blissey "The white girl with the booty"? 💀
"Showing off the egg out here for free." 😹
A physical infernape without CC? What a world we live in.
It kills me that you put Raging Fury on Infernape while you still have Hisuian Arcanine on the same team without it lmao
Hisuian Arcanine gets rock head. Which is the ability he is running. Flareblitz is better in every way.
@@nathanward117 technicaly flare blitz is also better on infernape bc you cant get locked in the only downside its the recoil
@Joshi869 infernape is already frail, so the recoil isn't a positive imo.

That what makes it fun, baiting out and clearing checks first, then sweeping…
They just make outrage but a fire type move.
Raging Fury is pretty good on Gouging fire bc the damage in Sun with no recoil would oneshot or twoshot most of stuffs anyway
That planet of the apes joke legitimately got a genuine laugh out of me
that scizor is some crazy cook bro, you are crazy in a claver way i respect you
I remember the first time i saw MixTape and thought that is the best nickname ever
The potential video previews are always so cool 🤣
Is raging fury basically just a fire type outrage?
Your strategy battles are always epic and insane(in a good way lmao) 😂
@14:27 buddy got the double Focus Sash which is Diabolical !!
Infernape, the Goku Pokémon
Actually, it's the Sun Wukong Pokémon
@@grownconch1327goku is based off of him too
I’m always confused when people say this. They look nothing alike. Wukong/Infernape are monkeys, Goku is just a strong guy.
@Regeor Tbf, Goku IS based of Sun Wukong too, so both Infernape and Goku have something in common.
@Regeor the very beginning of Dragonball (before Z) is basically journey to the west.
I've always loved Fire Monké :D

Getting paralyzed is much worse than getting confused. At least for an infernape.
I use Stone Edge with mine, and if it misses, I use Temper Flare afterwards. Stab + fire tera works.

Finally Infernape Video❤
How have I not seen Raging Fury before?? Such a cool animation
Should have made a bulky infernape with slack off and bulk up in true haydunn fashion of running mons in a way they are not supposed to be used xD
The advantages of Raging Fury is that it doesn't make contact, unlike Flare Blitz.
I’ve waited for this
So what are the 4 total Pokémon that get Raging Fury?
Technically its 3 - Infernape, Gouging Fire, Arcanine Hisui but regular Growlithe can get it via breeding which is probably what they meant
i got shiny chimchar a day after christmas in pokemon pearl ds and i’m def gonna love this video 🙏
