I am not at all surprised about the bad performance of your DW candle. I tried DW’s two wick, 15 oz. “Sunbathing in Bali”. I got it in their subscription box, which I tried for one month and subsequently cancelled. It was a lovely white jar with metal lid. A Bali beach scene was ‘painted’ on the lid. I was so excited! Surely this candle would take me far away to a tropical paradise! The cold smell was virtually nonexistent, but I still had a glimmer of hope. Alas, my hope died in one short hour after being lit. It did start to finally smell at this point. “Sunbathing in Bali” should have been named “Sunburnt in Bali”. All I could smell was a burnt smokiness, and it never got better.
Here in UK our TJ Maxx sell around 80% DW Home. I’ve tried the two wicks three times now, should have learned by now, but they are just not strong enough for my nose and not the quickest poolers. For the money, they aren’t worth it. Pauline.
@@hellskitchenkritterandfrie3372 if it was actually… a decent candle… it would be great. I really don’t understand how DW stays in business. Style over substance I guess.
Thanks for the reviews. Have a wonderful week ❌️ ⭕️
Thank you! You too!
Goose Creek has the best Vanilla Birthday Cake Candle! It is so delicious and pretty strong 🧁🎂
I agree!! They are killing it with the vanillas and gourmands. DW should take notes because it feels like that’s what they want to be..

@@MomMom-kc4ee brutal!! Honestly at this point the only reason I buy them is to burn them outside, and I only buy them at clearance price.

I had that candle and it performed terrible for me too :( I had to put it under my lamp warmer. DW candles unfortunately never burn good for me.
I keep saying I’m going to stop buying their candles! Then I see them at clearance price and they look so cute…… baaah.
@@AllAbootCandles same! 😂
$33 Dollars? The nerve!😂😂
Ridiculous!!
I just a horrible experience with a sooty candle, any suggestions on what to do??
Try to return it! lol. Burn it outside… that’s what I do.. or use a heat lamp or candle crock.
@@AllAbootCandles out side might be a good idea! It turned completely black!
