The whole Xgames Street competition was a joke .. the course sucked everybody kept falling because it wasn't thought out very well and to show up the day of and find out a bunch of different rules . I feel like a higher up at x games like don't care about Street or consider it a sport so I agree on that. it kinda blew my mind 🤯

Xgames has been dying for a while. It used to be such an event. It was a summer spectacle. Now i just end up hearing about it AFTER its over. It needs new leadership. Its crazy at one point they showed the entire girls street skating over the dirt jumping. That tells you their agenda.
@@JanoyCresva I hate to say this but I think Garrett went in 10 years in a row kind of took the fun out of the event just playing devil's advocate someone said this to me .

The ramp was such a dope concept! They should do another. Chris Child's ramp 2 video is insane! The fence hop loop out at the beginning is better than him landing it. Something about seeing the struggle. It sets the tone for the video, you know it's about to get buck with some shit like that at the beginning. The backflip in the sunset right after that would make an awesome photo. Dope shit still to this day. Bout to veiw again

Sick, I guess dirt took over for Mega? They need to build real trails again so you can get some real Trail guys on the course like the old days. Not just a bunch of dudes with pad pants, like respect but its totally not relatable. Neither is Big Air, but sometimes someone would actually take the Big Air part of the contest seriously and do a 20+ ft tabletop. But even the early Dirt courses had different lines, transfers ect. Having just another Triple Crown is just whatever.
The problem is they need to pander to the casual viewer who wants to see the crazy tricks , their casual viewers are going to tune out if it’s a bunch of trail dudes doing motowhips, tables and turndowns. Sucks but that’s how x games works.
