    I've made Pioneer Woman's cinnamon rolls numerous times and they are far and away the best cinnamon rolls on the planet!

    i,ve made these a few times and experimented by adding a little more milk each time, to pour my children call n say are they ready, but these are far better than any store bought cinnamon rolls including cinnabon. recipes are guidelines play with them until you find what makes your stomache quiver with joy,you've done a great job on these

    Thanks for the great video! I love these cinnamon rolls! So far I've made them twice, once for my family and once for a PTA function. My family love them and the other parents at the school think I'm some kind of baking and God now!

    Today I made your version Ree' cinnamon rolls. They are twice as wonderful with half the filling on the top. Thank you so much for this improvement.

      Did you try putting the dough in the fridge? If you did, I'd love to know how long they needed to rise :) Thanks!

      After the last addition of flour, I put the dough in the fridge for an hour. After rolling, filling and cutting I let them rise for 20 min in a warm place. I guess the action of the baking powder and baking soda allows for the fast rise and the fact the dough warmed up when rolling out. Everyone I serve them to says they are the best they have ever had.

      is there a reason my dough would have been super flakey?

      Not sure why it would have been super flakey...maybe a little more liquid needed?

    Hi I tried this recipe. I loved the dough will be using it again the only thing I'll change is the extra sauce on top it was too rich for me. A little crunchy I liked that. This was good two thumbs up thanks

      +josephine solomon (josey'sworld) So glad you loved the dough recipe! There is definitely a lot of icing on the top, so I can understand cutting back on that :) Thanks for watching :D

    This video helped me so much with questions I had about Ree's recipe. One more question...if you choose to hold the dough over night, the next morning after filling and putting in the pan how long to you then let the rolls rise?

    • @Mrsgooses
      @Mrsgooses  7 лет назад

      I'm not sure. As they'll be a little colder, it'll take a little longer to rise. Maybe try an extra 15min and then have a look to see how they're doing.

      I did not hold them over night. My family was too anxious to have them then.

      I'm trying these tomorrow. I like how you did the "smear" - i will try it that way. Seems like a good way to do it.
      My dough always seems to take longer to rise than others. I hope they turn out - they are going to a Police Christmas breakfast. Im making the full batch.

    If you were going to freeze these, would you do it before adding the icing or afterwards? Many thanks.

    • @Mrsgooses
      @Mrsgooses  7 лет назад +1

      I would freeze them before adding the icing.

    • @solatiumz

      Thank you for replying, I think that getting them in the freezer quickly would be best, ideally before I had the chance to eat them all lol.

    The consistency wasn’t quite right with mine. Any tips or thoughts of what i may have done wrong? I’m using all purpose flour

    • @Mrsgooses
      @Mrsgooses  6 лет назад

      I find the consistency has a lot to do with where I let mine rise. So, whether it's warmer or cooler or more humid. Maybe try a different location when the dough is rising.

    how many cups of milk did you add cos it looks like more than 1/2 quart (2 cups)?

    • @Mrsgooses
      @Mrsgooses  10 лет назад

      I only added 2 cups (500ml) milk. It might look like a larger measuring cup because of the camera zoom, but it's only 2 cups :)
