No longer a good deal, they raised the regular prices to the point that when they have the 40% sale, which is every other week, the sale price is just barely less than the old regular price was.
The 1985 Camaro Z28 is the fifth or sixth revision I believe. Anyway that one has a new decal sheet which has many striping colors for all sorts of color variations. I have collected many of these kits which will keep me busy through late 2024.

That's not a bad deal , The price that you see on the box is the regular price , So that Model kit for $29.99 with 40% is only = $18.00 + Tax , I hear They have a Sale like that every other week, You get the same thing on the Online store but have to pay shipping , Great Video dude .
Amazing! Model kits that once cost between $1.50 and maybe $2.00 new in the 60s, are now being sold for up to $40 each!! I'm sure glad I bought them new back then as a kid. Then again, inflation and increased prices stops for no one, and I paid $200 4 years ago for an all plastic 1:72 scale kit of a German WWII Railroad cannon with over 1,700 parts! That same kit is now going for up to $300. My most expensive kit though is a 1:8 scale pre painted diecast metal kit of a 1954-55 Mercedes W196 R GP car. It is assembled with over 24 different sizes of machine screws and weighs 10lbs. Each stainless steel spoke in the wheels has to be hand assembled. With a signed limited production # and a beautiful illuminated display base it was $1,600. Times have certainly changed!
Thanks for the quick tour of your HL. The Revell kits are priced higher than MPC - AMT. Sometimes (not sure what it depends on) you can find a kit or four in the clearance. Last score was the 1/16 57 T bird for $14.
Went to hobby Lobby myself yesterday. I was supposed to be getting model paint but just bought the U.S. Postal service "Auto art stamp series" '69 Charger Daytona kit in the metal case that was to the right of the Shelby Mustang at 2:33 I trimmed, sanded and trial fit parts late last night and I am going to start assembly tonight after it cools off outside! Liked and subscribed!
