Great Smoky Mountains National Park Guide - TOP Day Hikes for Everyone!

- The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the MOST Visited National Park in the United States.
I decided to compile a guide to tell you everything you need to know before you come including best day hikes, things you MUST SEE and what you can expect during your first visit!
Most visitors stay within the park to do popular day hikes such as Alumn Cave and Chimney Top Hikes which can be found along the Newfound Gap. The road starts just outside of Gatlinburg, Tennessee and continues into Cherokee, North Carolina. For those not looking to hike, there are plenty of beautiful overlooks along the way that are easily accessible - including the tallest point on the Appalachian Trail, Clingmans Dome!

Oh you will love it! There are so many great places to see, but I recommend spring or fall for either wildflowers or the colorful leaves!
