What i find strange is normally you cant cut RGBIC strips, if you do so it looses connection to the independed IC chips, the bigger black parts. If you google this, you see this stated in most sites.
Ye you are right. It’s because there is only one IC (RGBIC) chip inside, if you cut the part with the chip inside, it won’t work.

What's the difference between the RGBIC and RGBIC pro?
You can control the pros with alexa or Google Assistant and they have an extra surface over the light (for protection)

With the 32’ model does it run in different directions from the plug so 16’ one way and 16’ another or can it be ran in series and all 32’ ran in one direction away from the plug? Thank you.
Yes. They go in opposite directions
Yeah they can, a kit comes with two spools on most occasions and the adapter has 4 cord areas I believe, just in case you have extra lights. to make it so you have all the lights connected together in one large strip, you may need some sort of adapter clips that you can buy on Amazon.

The Govee RGBIC LED Strip Lights can be run in series, so you can use the full 32' length in one direction away from the plug. This means that you can connect all 32' of LED strip lights and run them in one continuous direction. You can do this by connecting the end of one strip to the beginning of the next strip using the provided connectors. cnl
Is it possible to make the two strands act like one continuous strand? I just recieved mine and expected the two strands to work in tandem with each other. So far I've only seen them mirroring each other which will not work for my application.

@@harshparmar7704 After playing with the strips, I do not think there is a way to make them act like one continuous strand. They just mirror each other.
On the bright side I have found a way to make it work for our room, but it will require cutting and lengthening wires between the two strips.

Just buy the 100ft. 2 reels of 50 so that should be a pretty long stretch of the same design. You can always cut the power cord for the second and relocate with extension wires.

I need 120’ feet but not sure if I can connect multiple reels to each other without having to plug in each reel to an outlet. Do these daisy chain?

I'm at a lost with the whole two spools. I need 44" for the perimeter of the ceiling but two spools of 36". Even if i somehow use the 2nd spool for the remaining ceiling, it wont run in line with the other spool..

What is the length of the cable on the power supply? I'm measuring up the outside. And the end of the 32.8 ft strip will be about 20" from the power plug. I want to confirm i can reach it.. Thanks

Do these put off heat or get hot to the touch at all? I want to put them in a glass display case to light up my anime figures but I'm afraid if it puts out heat it will get too hot in an enclosed area.

can you get the software on pc? and if not what are some good LED RGB lights that do
No you cant, Goovee does not have that. They do have the Flow Pro Bars. I have the Wifi and camera version. that one does react to whats is visible on your monitor using the camera. Its pretty nice and much cheaper vs Philips Hue setup. which is around $360 for also a controller

How do I get the 2.4 gb wifi..I don’t have it
You'll need to talk to you service provider about adding a 2.4 ghz wifi network. If you plan to use smart products, pretty much all of them need 2.4ghz wifi to work unfortunately :(
