Ben impressed me with his enthusiasm for the product but also what that translates into practically on the farm. He sounded authoritative and knowledgable and not like someone just regurgitating the sales brochure.
I love how Tom explains things for people like myself who aren't famers. He makes content that is friendly towards everyone, but in a manner that makes everyone enjoy it. Thank you for all your hard work.
As a city girl living in the suburbs, I have ZERO need for any of this stuff but I’m learning SO MUCH and I love it!!! Congratulations on the grant and being able to get the dribble bar. Cheers! 🥂
We were told with our one is that when your going to be done spreading for a few days, fill the tanker half full with water and wash out the dribble bar so the slurry doesn't dry out
No more Fertilizer other than the dribble bar Sweet. Here in the US Folks use their grants for Bass boats, House on the lake Fast cars, nice clothes ect.... Glad you play by the rules Tom!
So happy to see you grow the farm with your father and you could see that he wants to leave you a legacy I really enjoy your videos and makes us miss home watching them from Canada keep up the good work please Tom
U need to watch with dribble bar on silage ground slurry needs to b really thin because if it thick the slurry dries in tbe lines when the grass grows the crust of the lines grows up with the grass an then the mower brings the slurry back into the pit. It can b a big problem. Perfect for grazing
I have a dribble bar. It's about 18" long and fits on the spout of my watering can. I use it for spreading Path Clear on my brick paving. The size comparison is comical, but mine works for me. xxx
I really like how you mention cost. Like it or not it’s always a factor in any project decision. Obviously for a business situation, reliability, availability, operation etc are important but always cost is part of the formula to ultimately achieve good value. Thanks for the terrific vidjoes !
Every company needs a Ben. The best sales people are the ones not in sales...I'd buy anything from that guy with his knowledge; and being able to easily tell that he likes the industry and the product.
Very cool Tom. Congratulations! I never had seen these til I started watching UK/Irish farmers. You are making MASSIVE strides this year. 2021 is the year of Tom!
Best of luck with dribble bar Tom.... should be good investment and help get bit more nitrogen out of the slurry. Great job. 👏. hoping to have one late in year myself. 👍
Hello Tom, Thank you for your in-depth coverage of this piece of Kit! I learned so much. Something for our local farmers to look into. I haven’t seen anything like this . Thank you for taking the time to educate us. God bless you .
Congratulations, Tom - it’s wonderful that you got the grant and could purchase this great addition to the farm. In a very short amount of time I learned about how slurry is used in your operation and now I know what a dribble bar is!
Congratulations on the new, new addition! So much going on lately. It's awesome to see that both you and your Dad are leaving your individual marks on the farm now going forward into the future. Stressful, yeah, but overwhelmingly a positive direction! And it looks like you've got a good team (of vendors, etc) in place which makes things MUCH easier! Also great that you can cover more space! Saves you and your Dad a lot of time
You should leave on the splash plate. Round bale silage can block the pipes. Macerator doesn't chop Round bale silage and blocks up. Handy to have splash plate to empty the tanker.
Oh, bravo!! Even though I'm not a farmer your videos are always interesting and informative! I've learned so much and of course I love the dairy cows!! I appreciate all you share!! Thank you sooo much!!
I've one in its 3rd year, and it's a great macerator. Very hard to block, unless foreign objects! Few things I didn't realize until I used it, the forward speed to put out a load to the acre is very fast and takes getting used to especially in small fields. Because of the way the slurry goes up into the macerator, it's empty when there's a foot of slurry still in the back of the tank, so your tank capacity is maybe a hundred gallons less.
What an improvement for everyone that dribble bar is! Faster applicaton, not too bulky, better grass, faster grazing, lower stink, better nitrogen, wow.
The grant is a good thing you guys are hard workers and deserve all the government can offer. It's actually good to see gov money being used for a good purpose 👍👍👍
Well done Government for actually helping improve the environment in this way. Less artificial fertilisers, quicker grazing, more socially acceptable application: what a great piece of kit. I love watching people like Mark and Ben who live and breathe these products and know them very well. This is a great advert for them and a well designed piece of kit. I find all this fascinating. I look forward to you drawing neat lines on the grass Tom, you'll have to get them straight and even now 🤣🤣
That is definitely a well thought out attachment. Love the idea of putting in their own cutter for long fibres as well as having pressure at the right times. Brilliant!
If you edit with Adobe premier pro - try the effect DeNoise for unwanted wind and background noise removal. Love the videos by the way. You and Cole The Cornstar are the kings of farming. Thanks.
You sell the kit you like convincingly. Reason you get so many opportunities to try out the new latest and greatest. Never seen one of these poop dribblers before. Crazy farm yard high stress
In dry weather those bands of slurry dry out and stay on top of the growing grass so if it’s sileage ground the dry slurry comes in with the grass so in dry weather like no rain forecast for a month you’re better splash plate I remember mark back in 2002 at spreadwise he started me off with an umbilical system
Very impressed with the dribble bar didn’t understand the benefits till your video but quicker turn around for grazing less grazing covered in slurry is always a winner
Drizzles are great at spreading into taller grass as well since the hose tends to get it down past the leaves and if you splash a field on a dry day you end up losing a couple day's growth. In lawn care spraying you can actually retard the growth of plants with too much surfactant spread material and have to water the lawn about 15 to 20 minutes after spraying to not harm it. The _other_ advantage to the drizzle is you can water the field in a controlled manner without anybody catching on...just toss in 60% load of pond water and top it off with some slurry.
Hi Tom I am a farmer in New Zealand and we used to have 2 slurry tankers and they had a dribble bar system to but they cut the ground then put the slurry in so there was no time you had to wait before you could put cows again love you videos and giving me ideas for my farm
Real smart to get the tanker and you kept the same company and an upgrade. Great that the govt is giving money to reduce, smell, run off, and pollution. It's better for people, cows and your farm. That was the easiest upgrade except for the diesel tank on your farm. Smart.
Dribble bars are the future better than a disc version. Ben and Mark know their product very well 👌great app as well. Safety is very important on any farm, the excitement of the Dribble Bar was great, however when finished with the Telescopic Handler maybe putting the attachment on the ground would help!!
Having 3 month long dry spell with wind and heat from 40C to 47C. Lush pasture that usually grows faster than sheep can eat won’t grow. Had to open up 15 new large fenced pastures and lower the number of leased grazing acres. Hay went from $80 per ton to $350 per ton for last years second cutting.
Regarding your audio issues, would maybe a clip-on microphone setup work for you? I'm thinking like what Cammy from the Sheep Game does. It helps when it's windy and/or there are noisy machines or animals in the background, plus is handy for setting the camera down somewhere and still being able to talk to it and be heard.
You would think initially that it would put out a bit slower. Thanks for letting us know when “change” of how you can apply slurry , we are currently working through effluent guidelines in western Australia .🤠
Here in Denmark it's been around 20 years since dribble bars or injection became mandatory. It's been around 25 years since it became the regular way to apply slurry. That was built just 2 miles from my house, there the best out there by a mile. Happy Slurry spreading 💪👌👍

Amazing and your enthusiasm... terrific! What is in the slurry that you are laying down. Watered down cow manure?
Hello from Australia
I'm not a farmer, but I figured this thing out right away. Very cool, indeed!
The case will definitely be able for the dribble bar as well because we have a tm 120 on a 2500 gallon tank with the same dribble bar
You would think initially that it would put out a bit slower. Thanks for letting us know when “change” of how you can apply slurry , we are currently working through effluent guidelines in western Australia .🤠

Literally done the same thing. Digestives and tea💪
I am keen to see the plate cooler.
This is all good and well, but how will you be able to cover fracking protesters or Cars that park in your fields?
Haha. He’s still got the splash plate option. I believe that’s why they left it on. Also if you fall out with the bank.
