Nope, you can roll before seeding. It creates a seedbed like the attachment is doing here and rolls in any small stones. It doesn't remove the needs rolling state though.
Hi VF. Look at the construction of the pack-o-mat - you’ll see that it is not a roller, but a series of discs designed to break down any large clumps of soil turned up by the plough to create a seedbed. More like a kind of harrow than a roller so, irl at least, would not take care of those pesky stones. Hope you don’t mind me saying. Love the series 😊

Re rolling does that not have to be done after seeding. Is that why your plow doesn't roll in the stones
