I found if I do the outside with a pass or 2, then come up the middle, then go left (or right) of the center line, then moving to the far left side, then come back the the left center of line, flip to right center line, then far right. Basically figure 8, that way you aren’t making tight turns to get back to the path u just did.
You could keep costs down by utilizing more antique farm equipment. It holds its value, and replacements should be readily available at much less cost than new equipment.

For most non-hobby farming ops being surrounded by land you own is not the norm. Take a local/regional map, throw out a half dozen or more marker pieces on the map and that’s the land you’re going to be working. Some you’ll own, most youll be leasing.
Owning the land or all the equipment isn’t a goal. We’ve spent over a hundred years moving away from this model of owning land and owning equipment. Interest rates are just lower for folks who want to hedge vs banks who want to lend. If you’re a 2x2 farmer, sure owning is the way. Most folks need the flexibility for when some random decision from DC takes your first and maybe second born.
Hi! I See that your weed killer and fertilizer machines will only go on if there is actual need for. Is this a Mod doing it? I am trying to stop losing Fertilizer and Weed killer on the road/crops that dont need it. Thanks!

This game needs crop dusters. And i live here in arkansas and we grow miles and miles of cotton. And the game seems to miss an important step for cotton. Defoliation

Not sure if you are role-playing about the speed of your tractors while weeding or not. But most pull behind tools have a max speed limit while using.
