Don't know a lot about these types of metal cutting bandsaws, but from what I've seen I think you are correct in letting the weight of the machine exert the right amount of pressure to make the cut and not create to much heat. Nice little saw for "hobby" work.
Nice video brother! I just grabbed one on the prime day sale for $147.95 . I just couldn't pass it up anymore! This Vevor Bandsaw is actually the same as their "Best" brand of Harbor Frieght, their Hercules band saw but at a better price than HF. It also comes with the stand/vise and for the HF its over 100.00 xtra BTW you sound exactly like Tree top flier! Ill have to tell him he has a twin somwhere. 😄😆🤣
I've used this saw for a number of metal cutting tasks and my only regret is I didn't purchase this sooner! For me a great blend of price and performance. I'll have to check out Tree Top Flier to listen to my "voice doppelganger" ;-)
