Day06: Riding Beyond Limits: A 76-Year-Old’s Inspiring Journey from Srinagar to Kargil

Srinagar to Kargil (Approx. 200 km)
1. Srinagar - Start your journey in the scenic capital of Jammu & Kashmir.
2. Ganderbal (around 25 km) - A small town known for its beautiful countryside.
3. Sonamarg (80 km from Srinagar) - A picturesque valley surrounded by snow-capped mountains. You can take a break here and enjoy the beauty of the region.
4. Zoji La Pass (95 km from Srinagar) - A challenging and high-altitude pass at 11,575 feet. Be cautious here due to narrow roads and unpredictable weather.
5. Drass (150 km from Srinagar) - Known as the second coldest inhabited place in the world. You can stop here to visit the Kargil War Memorial.
6. Kargil (200 km from Srinagar) - A historic town, marking the end of your ride. Here, you can explore the local culture, visit the Suru Valley, or relax after the ride.
