- This is our first episode of JTT "Jesse's Tech Talks". In this episode we dive into some of the questions associated with shopping for an aftermarket chassis. Specifically a C10 chassis for those who want to autocross, road race, and comfortably street drive their trucks. We touch of 4 major players in the industry offering a chassis in which you can be competitive, how they differ, and how you should order your chassis. This video will open up a ton of other questions so please feel free to post your comments or questions. Thanks for watching!

Stock 85 chassis, ridetech front coilover kit, ridetech rear 4 link kit, tinworks frame stiffener. Going to be a cruiser/daily toy. Should be good for that.
great job guys. This kind of thing (I hope) will be very educational and help a lot of people. Thanks for making No Limit a part of the discussion.
Great video! Could not ask for a better family to work with. Jesse and Shawn are always there when I need them. Even spied my new frame in the video!
Love this! So informative and fun!
Solid Video. Definitely the conversations that need to be had.
Great discussion and very informative. The bad part is 20k for a c10 chassis would go a long way towards a Chevelle. Problems abound.
That green and white GMC Speedtech truck is 🔥🔥🔥😉. Great video Jesse, next time we are at the same race jump in Keith……
Sooo good. JTT for tha win!
Haha. Thanks for watching! We are learning a lot. They will get better.
Mind reader. Exactly the info I needed to hear. I’ll wait for a frame for next year.
Thanks for watching Will, glad you enjoyed it.
Great Video
Great video.
What about using a full modern muscle car chassis under a truck shell? Say for instance 1962 unibody f100 grafted over a 2016 Mustang GT Performance Pack. 1.75” DOM tied into Mustang chassis.
No mention of the fast track chassis from Roadster shop, or did I miss that? Good video, informative. To be competitive on a budget is difficult. But like most things, the deeper your pockets , the more choice you have
Fast track is an option but not one that most choose. There are never been one in our racing circles so it’s hard to compare how well they work.
Roadster shop is good if you wanna wait 6 months for it
So I have a 78 step side how does that affect fitment or is it a non issue
Im looking at buying a chassis but it's a mess to figure out pricing. They start around $9k but there's now way to know what you actually get with that? Thank you for pointing out it's a maze to figure out what the actual cost is.
What about Progressive Automotive, or the Roadster Shop??
What about Scott's Hotrod shop?
Great video! A little late for me though….🙄
Is there a frame stiffener setup that i can help my truck to enjoy the benefits of a wide ride and four link that i have?
Tinworks Fab if you have a squarebody
@@PEDR0SKI thanks for answering!
Nobody mentions QA1 . Have you had any experience with it ?
Yes we have but this video is speaking to the people who want to be competitive. The rigidity of an aftermarket chassis combined with great suspension geometry can’t be had with bolt on suspension.
Yep im there. I should have done a chassis. ~sigh~ 😞
Anybody know how to contact Ryan finch about a apex predator chassis for a 67-72 c10
His name is Brian Finch and he is tough to get in touch with. brian@finchperformance.com
Unpopular opinion, but spend the money you'd otherwise use on a chassis and purchase a Miata. Then use the truck for towing. I have both, guess which is used for track time.
Solid advice, but some of us just enjoy the pain lol. As long as we’re racing, right?
the truth really does hurt sometimes....thanks! lol
