How to set-up a thermocouple tree in a concrete structure using a chain with the Flashpoint Temperature Monitoring System. Ryan demonstrates the set-up used at Firehouse Expo Hands-on Training used to measure temperatures inside the burn room during a live-fire course with Kevin Lewis. Thermocouples are secured to a chain which is hung from a ceiling anchor. Thermocouples are placed at the 3ft, 5ft and 7ft elevations (measured from the ground). This is a set-up that quickly places thermocouples to measure the temperature profile during training.
