Hey Paris, loving your videos. But I have a question about breathing. I understand that the goal is to expand the ribs. But I'm wondering about the diaphragm and its relationship to diaphragmatic breathing. Should my belly also be expanding, as with diaphragmatic breathing. Or am I to focus only on expanding the rib cage? Thanks for everything you do ❤️
@@tamaraoconnor5483 hi there! Great question - it is both.
The bow alignment encourages diaphragmatic breathing and rib expansion. Think about moving your breath through your nose, into your belly first and then focus on filling, expanding and lifting your ribs. Then the breath moves through the neck and crown of head. It is quite incredible so w each breath the central channel and activated and nourished.
