    Thank you for these amazing beginner classes! Just doing these have already made a shift in my body. What should I do differently or focus on as I have some pressure in lower back coming in the movements?

      @@juliakukkonen1085 hey Julia! Thanks so much for sharing your experience and I am so glad that you are finding that these classes are amazing. Often times with beginners and lower back strain is because your initiating the lower back curve from the lower back muscles. When, we want to initiate that lower back curve from the ribs in the feet. I teach you how to do that in my latest class if you want to check it out. And then another thing is that often, the glutes are engaged, and it is the lower back and quads that are doing the work of the glutes. So, these classes help wake up the glutes so that it can take strain off the lower back. Do any of answers resonate with you? Do you notice any of these patterns in your body?

    This was great. My bottom upper leg starts to cramp when doing the bicycles. Are there any adjustments I should make?

      @@CarlyTaylor-nu4ix hi there! So glad you enjoyed the class! Yes… Cramping can happen for a many reasons. I would first check in with ensuring your hydrated, then ensuring that you’re getting enough electrolytes (specifically Magnesium) and also ensuring that you aren’t gripping at the bottom of your foot and squeezing your toes. I hope some of those suggestions help! Often too, cramping can be from something overworking… So ensuring that you’re not working your calf too much if it cramping at the bottom of your leg.

    I love this video! Its so great since i think that everyone can see how much work went into this: the energy that springs out of your personality, the background ( i mean i think its really great, that there are some plants, since i don't see them in most of the videos and also i dont know how but you nailed the color scheme with a lot of things being blue), the body language speaks for itself and shows that you know what you're talking about, although sadly i think a lot of people won't be able to follow along with the video because most of my generation (including me, haha ... ;-;) has short attention span, so i would probably add more images, since that can help with making people focus more ex: when you were talking bout fascia fuzz and how it acts with muscles ( also i literally cannot thank you enough for making comparisons to velcro, such a clever thing!! made me understand instantly) it would be really nice if there was like a short video of like that scene happening even if for 5 seconds while you're talking about it. Although i think the image (or video) cannot be too big since then it could cover you while you're talking about it, so perhaps it could be like at your side? And I want to clarify, that i really don't want to um butt in since i do not have a channel, i just wanna help ( since i saw u being so enthusiastic about it, so it made me wanna do something too!) and last thing i would have um recommended to change would be that sometimes the cuts between sentences made them sound confusing ( although pls dont worry bout it, too much!) - it was when there was one word between cuts. But i swear THE VIBES, the atmosphere, THE SPIRIT! and overally like casuality of the way you speak was so good to listen to! Also, um if you are gonna try to take this into account, please take it one step at a time and just do what you feel will be good, this video was already so great and i cant wait for the next ones! will be doing my fascia maintenance I SWEAR!! ( also i forgot, the summary at the end made it so much easier to remember everything and pinpoint like a mindmap - once again, so well-thought! love this vid!).

    Hey Paris, loving your videos. But I have a question about breathing. I understand that the goal is to expand the ribs. But I'm wondering about the diaphragm and its relationship to diaphragmatic breathing. Should my belly also be expanding, as with diaphragmatic breathing. Or am I to focus only on expanding the rib cage? Thanks for everything you do ❤️

      @@tamaraoconnor5483 hi there! Great question - it is both. The bow alignment encourages diaphragmatic breathing and rib expansion. Think about moving your breath through your nose, into your belly first and then focus on filling, expanding and lifting your ribs. Then the breath moves through the neck and crown of head. It is quite incredible so w each breath the central channel and activated and nourished.

    Painful but in a good way! I was told my hips were super tight during birth and my son ended up getting stuck in my pelvis- made me really want to explore how to prevent that from happening next time! This felt like exactly what I needed to do

    I believe this is the key to healing my back from years of training to do the opposite in gymnastics. I didn’t realize the “hollow” position with round back and scooped under hips was the problem. Thank you Paris!

Only if there is more and if you feel inspired to share but I am so curious how this supports people with scoliosis.     Have been doing this twice a week - interspersed with other of your classes that I bought. I notice such a difference - especially carrying my 23 lb grandson around. Focusing on keeping my ribs full and lifted from my waist. So very helpful So grateful💗

    Thanks again for another wonderful class, Paris. I was so excited to try this one after falling off the waggon with my practice recently. I loved the class and it completely shifted my mood as I'd been feeling a little low while taking a course of antibiotics. Core lengthening is something I really need as I feel that widening in my waist, my ribs & hips have always felt close together. Excited to practice this over and over to see how my body can change and create more space :)

      Hi there and thank you for sharing! Have you practiced this class again? You are not alone w feeling like your ribs and hips are moving closer and closer together creating a wide waist. This posture is prevalent, but I’m so glad that you have discovered Bowspring to support you opening and lengthening your belly… Seriously, life changes when we live with full ribs, rooted, hips, and a long belly! If you do this class again, let me know how it feels the second time around!

      Bowspring is incredibly healing to the abdominal area and supports repairing the tissue with DR. Have you practiced Bowspring before? If you haven't yet practiced this class (or even if you have already taken it) please let me know how it feels for you. It is a different philosophy of how to engage the core. Thank you for asking!

      The awkwardness… So real! It gets less awkward, the more you practice and then you’ll go back to your old ways with a reflection of like… “Oh, that was what was really awkward!       Hi there! Yes, I think it is wise to practice, keeping the muscles strong in the core… But it depends for everybody. Depends on how far along you are and what sort of engagement when is doing pregnant? Were you able to do this class? How did it feel?
