Bizarrely we could only find the smoked ones from Italy. These are the ones we purchased. ebay.to/2HfZqdA I'll add some links to the description to the non smoked ones, if anyone chasing the full OEM LCI look.
I agree man, but only at night they look definitely nicer. But through the daylight the LCIs look so much better. Also I suppose the rear fogs of the LCIs are stronger?
I agree not long bought an e92 my self and thought about changing the lights to LCI.. after watching this I’m gonna stick with the standard one’s for sure
I did this mod. But only when my old style lights LED was on their last legs managed to get 126k miles out of the old ones.... Kept waiting till i got the ones off a 2013 e92. @@ZeroTo60Tube I see too many people with 1 blown xenons in e92, i dont see a point driving with xenons turned on, in a hot sunny day. Those rear lights turned on, everyday with day time running light. Is a expensive repair. Those merc e class are the worse they blow out after 2 years.

Help, Just installed LCI sequential tail lights on my E92 M3 and the driver side turn signal does not display in sequential pattern. Only the passenger side Sequential pattern turn signal functions. Any idea why the driver side sequential pattern does not work? It only displays a solid turn signal light.
I think the old ones look better especially on the e93 imo. This 3D style and LED is a little tacky and does not suit the overall look of the car (imo) 🤔 Great cars and video gents
I definitely see where you are coming from. The pre LCI lights definitely have a stable part in my mind of what the E92s should look like. I seem to always have related the LCI tail lights with the M3 for some reason. I really like the updated look, but i'm going to go for the standard non tinted lens, these particular ones were darker than standard, but that is the theme the owner is going for with his car.
I couldnt help notice that the inside of your trunk lid and the channeling that the trunk lid covers when closed is "gloss" black. It should be matte base coat (or matte black). Were those parts of the car repainted?
if i purchased a used set of tail lights (from a part out car, used, etc) would it be a very difficult process? I know i’d have to code a few things in and get a new harness, but would that work? Thanks
Hi There, Unfortunately the smoked ones are no longer available. These are from australia, but i think even with shipping to greece will be the cheapest option. ebay.us/Op5IlU
I really like the look of the lci lights but i personally think the old ones looks more like an ”335i”. I dont know yet what i want for my 335. Nice and clean video!
It's funny you should say that. I always related the LCI tail lights to M3s for some reason. Which has always been a special car to me, maybe thats why i want the look for my 335i. On the same note i'm also the muppet running fake m4 wheels...... :|
You can re-code the car to not show the blown bulb errors. But i think its easier just to tuck the load resistors in the back and not mess with the cars coding.
Apparently you need an FM3 which is about 600 dollars.. I would rather go to a tuning shop and pay them an hour worth of labour to code it out for around $100... or just code it yourself
@@ZeroTo60Tube wow that’s cool I never knew this! So do you have to code the lights if they’re aftermarket ? I have DIPO lci taillights I’m trying to install I’m just not sure if I need to code them
Well if you are not sure, just try and check out an LCI coupe, but these have the tinted finish. I think they are much better. Especially at night time.
I think the old ones look better at night and horrible on daylight, while the LCIs are exactly the opposite 😂. The LCIs are not bad at night but they look like just another f30 or so. The old ones have those sexy three stripes very detailed.
I dont think you can buy these separately, they only come in a kit with the lights. However you may be able to work it out using normal load resistors. A lot of auto shops stock them now for LED bulb conversions.
Definitely make sure all the seals are properly seated against clean surface on the car. The foam gaskets/seals aftermakrt lights use are always a bit dodge compared to the genuine ones.
Hey. Nice video man. Btw where did you get them..?

@@ZeroTo60Tube why is that bizarre? Smoked lenses aren't legal, so the fact you had to order them from another country makes perfect sense.
