I left a comment in your rise reaction, in that i mentioned Koba being a bonobo, i wanna briefly say how ironic it is that Ceasar (a chimpanzee) is the one who advocates for peace, and doesnt want to fight, yet Koba (a bonobo) wants all the smoke despite coming for a naturally docile species. Also, DO NOT LISTEN TO THAT IDIOT, 2011 PLANET OF THE APES SERIES IS NOT A PREQUEL, ITS A REBOOT, A COMPLETELY SEPARATE VERSION AND UNIVERSE!!!!! sorry it gets annoying hearing people say blatantly wrong information. But yeah, rise of the planet of the apes, to the new kingdom of the planet of the apes are different universe, but they have lots of callbacks and easter eggs/ references to the otginal. There are more or less homages rather than connections to those films. Also, as i said before, Ceaser had a thing for an ape at the sanctuary, her name was Cornelia. A reference to an ape character form the 60s films. I wont say who for spoiler reasons, your just gonna have to watch to understand the references. But in my opinion, the Andy serkis planet of the apes movies will always be my favorite of the franchise.
A fantastic follow-up to rise and the best of the Caesar series. 8:28 they have the same genetics as humans so they gave birth just like how normal human females do. 9:12 Will died during the beginning of the apocalypse.

Hi, thanks for continuing the trilogy with the follow up to Rise. you’ve just got War left. Dawn is an amazing film that keeps you on you toes. All three of this trilogy are masterpieces in my opinion. I went to the cinema to see all three f them and have watched them countless times since. They are my all time favourite trilogy ever. I adore Caesar and Koba makes an excellent villain although you can see where he’s coming from by being tortured by humans etc. Andy Serkis (Caesar) , Toby Krebbel (Koba) deserved dozens of awards for this but they weren’t nominated for any which is criminal. Take care and see you for War. 😘🏴 #ApesTogetherStrong ❤️ #TeamCaesar
