Throwback sound!! I remember taking the B41 in Brooklyn bus as a kid. The bus used to make this same exact noise! I used to like how the token machine would shake when the bus hits a bump. LMAO. I really miss the old NYC!
That motor sounds powerful I remember we move to Harlem from East NY between M1, M2, M3 buses they speed down on Lenox Boulevard and Frederick Douglass Boulevard

Although the series 50 is a great sound in it's own right.
Series 50 it's a powerful engine but in 1992 or less units to be repowered loss power, example NYCTA TMC RTS 1990 units
Other example here in San Juan, AMA repowered 8 1992 TMC RTS to Series 50, but the make powerful like 1994 or above
