Me and Aria share our favorite dish for special occasions or date nights! I hope you all enjoy this recipe as much as we do! It is so easy, very customizable and fun to make with a friend, lover OR ALONE, whatever floats ya boat.
Recipe:
1 block firm or extra firm tofu
Tofu Marinade:
1 tablespoon sriracha (or more for your liking)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
Peanut sauce:
¼ cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon rice vinegar or 1 lime
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Sriracha to taste
1 tablespoon garlic
1 tablespoon ginger
Water to desired consistency

Can I just say - I love you guys as a couple! Normalizing that a girl can be taller than the guy in a relationship and breaking that stereotype that the guy has to be taller. Love is love at the end of the day, there shouldn't be any hard and fast rule about what a relationship should look like. Keep pushing that positivity Merle and Aria!
I know right? I was really insecure about it untill some months ago. Having a partner that also doesn't give a damn about my height has helped me a lot. In the beggining i was skeptical due to ''patterns'', people magnifying how tall i am and how difficult it must be for me to find a taller guy. I always felt like hiding when people said that, and i think that's where the norm ''short girl, tall guy'' comes from, making one think they will only be feminine, confident, happy and all if they're with someone with those specific features; which is a big nonsense if you ask me. There are more amazing things in someone as a whole to only pay attention to their outer appearence .
I'm 5'10, my boyfriend is 5'8 and i wouldn't want to be with anyone else :)

I love that they put out a real example of a relationship, good times and bad times. Love y’all. Also, I have tofu to get rid of before it goes bad so I’m glad I saw this.
Tofu fried rice! Cook your rice the night before, cube and marinate your extra firm tofu overnight in soy sauce, honey/maple syrup, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, peanut oil and chilli oil to taste. Bell peppers, bok choy, peas, corn, carrot. Wok it to em babyyyyyyy. A truck load of green onions to serve and Boom, heaven!!
I used to make this for my ex and he used to complain about too many veggies, but now I make it for my housemate on girls night. She appreciates it a LOT more 😍 VERY nice in Summer with a cold beer or a G&T!

right i been saying this for the longest time they look the same
I'm obsessed with making these kinds of spring rolls! My staples are carrots, cucumber, red onion, tofu, and bell peppers. but when we're feeling extra spicy we'll toss in a mystery ingredient! Like sauteed shitake mushrooms or jalapenos or anything we have left in the fridge. And for our sauce its pretty much the same but we add a little bit of ginger to it (thats the secret 😉)

Yum! I like adding cilantro to my spring rolls too. It's super good with roasted butternut squash (salt, pepper, ground ginger, and a wee bit of sesame oil).

I recently discovered that my favorite Vietnamese restaurant back from my meat-eating days sells vegetarian spring rolls and bahn mi made from mock duck (a variation of seitan). I asked the restaurant to make me a vegan version of the dishes and they tasted absolutely fantastic. I’m wondering if you have ever cooked with mock duck before.😁 It was my first time trying it, and it was so good!

Great video! May I suggest adding hoisin sauce to your peanut sauce? It's really delicious and a staple in things like Vietnamese peanut sauce and pho.
