  • What can I say? Don't buy me roses. ;)
Someone sent me these champagne colored Venus Et Fleur Eternity roses that are supposed to last a year without watering. How is this possible? I take apart these roses and destroy them completely. I also give my review on these roses, and my review isn't pretty.

They put them in a saline solution for 24+ hours to break down the cell walls then soak in glycerin (sweet smell) preservative for 48 plus hours then they dry them in silica for 4 days to a week. I’ve seen them last years and years.

It seem like most people in the comments section loves her video altho the video was being negative towards a company’s business idea of flowers lasting years. People don’t know how much it cost the business to not just pick the flowers, but also how much time and cost to get them in a way that they are preserve the flowers, and how much it is to make the packaging. I get trying to make a profit. And honestly to me they are gorgeous and they did A good job 👏🏾 ❤️

This isn't really even about the "eternity roses" clearly she just doesn't like being gifted flowers in general so there is clearly a bias. Some people would love to receive these and its nice that they last so long and smell nice, they're symbolic. If some people want to spend their money on these and make someone cry tears of joy then thats their decision. I think they're nice.

If anyone cares, I would recommend The Flower Box SF since they have a smaller team and really make sure all their items go out nicely. I ordered from them and their roses came perfect. They also cost less and use the same distributors. Just a suggestion...

This is a review and she did an excellent and very thorough job in showing the quality and real value of the product. Cutting them up at the end was an extra but if they’re gonna be trashed away already, might as well.
With that said, she just saved me from possibly spending over 300 dlls on a , box of cardboard filled with packing foam basically worthless, so you’re paying 300 dlls just for what? 12 roses with no stem in an oversized cheap box.

I stopped feeling bad for cut flowers once i got my own rose bush. I suddenly realised that the flower dies (which would not last forever anyway) but the actual bush lives on. In fact cutting encourages new growth and more buds. So if you love flowers and don't mind spending money on them, just do it!

farri123 my husband bought me a large box of these flowers that are green for my bday this yr. I’ve had them for almost 7months and I don’t have any complaints. If she cared for her roses and read the directions, it clearly states that the roses may discolor over a period of time and due to heat. Out of 49 roses, maybe 10 of them actually slightly changed but other than that they’re still gorgeous. Don’t let ppl from RUclips tell you something otherwise. ☺️🥰😘

I saw the price and then I was wondering "how the hell am I going to spend 300USD on 16 roses or so?". I did wonder how will they last that long but my main issue was, after a few months, if not weeks, what do you do with them? Just place them somewhere and forget about them even if in plain sight I guess. I respect who thinks these are worth it but I just don't see the point, especially after checking that the box and the underside of the roses is done very cheaply. Thanks for sharing

@@KatSurth Me too... back in 2001 The Vector Marketing company hired me to sell cutco knives... I was only 19 but back then you purchased the entire set for $150.00 so you can demonstrate ... My family has lost my knives and I am so curious if I can work there and get the set for $150.00 again ... probably some inflation but I'm still curious and its still worth it lol
