    I really liked that style of video, it was like watching a nature documentary. It was great to see these frogs close up and to hear you comment their history.

      The Leucomela and Tinctorious species really aren’t that tough. You should start building a tank. Getting plants growing. Figure out fly cultures and once that’s all down, get a few frogs!

    Awesome collection! I think it's really cool that you work with a bunch of oophaga! I'll check back with you in a couple months about the Rio colubre, very interested in getting those. Also do you know when your next available batches of escudo and the unknown basimentos will be?

      Chris Duncan thanks!! No I’ve had them before, they’re just not for me... too small, shy, and fast. They’re beautiful frogs, I just never saw them.

    Hello, what is the name of the small vine type plant that is seen growing in most the video? Been looking for a small broad leaf vine type plant for my tanks, and the one I'm asking about looks perfect in size. Thank you for the time spent making the video and any answers on that plant!

      Wild west garden pretty sure your talking about marcgravia... I have multiple species of marcgravia in my tanks, marcgravia umbelatta stays pretty small

    may I ask why you don't have Ranitomeyas? Is the size an extra hassle or do you simply not enjoy them as much? I'm asking because I eyeballed uacarii golden legs as my very first frogs.

      SilkMilkJilk great question lol, I’ve had them in the past, they’re just not for me, too shy, and too fast lol, I barely saw them when I had them, and when I did see one, it would dart off so freaking fast lol....

      @@TroyGoldberg Ah I see. Which ones would you put on a similar call-noise level, when the Ranitomeyas are a 3 and terribilis and santa isabel are more around 8? Since I have to fish for tiny bits of information my scale might be a little off, apologies^^

      SilkMilkJilk well all oophaga are up around 8 as well... Pumilio is a higher pitched faster call than, histo and Sylvatica, theirs Is much deeper pitched and a little slower. Leucomelas have a nice call id say lies right about at a 6

      Fair enough i got a 90cm 45cm 90cm terrarium after some lights witch will give good plant growth and reach the bottom any you can suggest

      @@TroyGoldberg I'd love to see them in a video bro. Im into growing corals but just last year got back into dart frogs again after like 15 years. My oh my how far the dart frog hobby has come. Your one of the first dartfrog RUclipsrs I started watching and stealing ideas from. I just went out and got some drylok to do a new vivarium build. I appreciate your vivarium tutorials. They help a lot. Oh and those sirensis are definitely on my list. Would be awesome if I was able to get one from you.

      @@TroyGoldberg i bought a moss mixture to mix with water and then apply on the background. it's been months and no growth

      Daniel Jehle that’s probably why, the moss Mix’s arent the easiest to grow, they work well on hygrolon backgrounds as long as it stays wet( need wet, not humid) I would try getting some java moss, it’s the easiest to grow in a viv in my opinion... just keep it wet for like 2 weeks then you’re good
