I wasn't expecting more from this video, lighting, plants, frogs, everything was organized and informative. I love to learn, coming here did exactly that for me. Good luck topping the next video👌
Yeah I plan on doing a video about that all together… for this video I needed to be a bit general since this is just an in-depth episode on the Vivarium…
This video should be the gold standard for anyone wanting to keep histrionica. Great care guide and overview of the problems that will probably come up.
What a phenomenal video!! Thank you so much for making it. Truly high quality. Please more of these, long ones, relaxing and tranquil. Your voice is perfect, low and quiet. Very relaxing to have on in the background while I'm working.
Great timing l am in the middle of a build myself for my Dainty's, You gave me more ideas. Thanks,l wish in Australia we could keep more Australia frog's, more has a safeguard for the one's left in the wild, Disease's are pushing same over the edge to extinction,
Another great video Troy, lots of useful information. Keep up the great videos ! I also love seeing your fishing post on FB. If you every come down to Massachusetts we can go after some tuna you will swear off fresh water
Troy, glad to see more content on your channel! Your tanks are always stunning. I was wondering... how do you manage to grow your moss up the back wall? Do you have a drip line? I don't and I can't get anything to grow up the top 3-4 inches of my walls (I used the drylok method that you demonstrated in a previous video).
Awesome set up!!! You might want to consider putting the warocqueanum on the higher place. It's epiphyte plant after all and it'll be a shame if the leaves get bigger and longer it's just gonna be laying on the ground 😂 it's very fuzzy plant but i must say you have the perfect set up for the queen 👑
Hi Troy, great video again, what a gorgeous tank! concerning the selaginella, I might help on the name, I have one too which is really the same, mine is called selaginella spec. Panama. Thanks again for the video, have a nice day!
Do you think I could make one with wood? Maybe using regular picture frame glass/ acrylic to waterproof or even bare plywood with the foam and sealant? I’m thinking it could be a cheaper alternative to buying the terrarium or making one with the thick glass.
Hi, I would like to ask how to ensure that the roots of the plants do not rot. And is there a big problem when I use water with ph7 and I don't use osmosis?
Hey, I’ve currently been making your euro style 2 frog tank, curious if you can give me the dimensions of glass I would need cut for your wider vivs? And is the building process the same as the euro style 2 viv?
I blame you Mr. Goldberg! Every video I watch now when they say "bioactive" I now find myself repeating "BIOACTIVE" in extra enthusiastic deep announcer guy voice!
I have a question for you. I'm looking to make a paludarium out of two book shelves i have on my TV stand. What would you use to wate proof the inside of the shelves?
Troy, you mentioned spikes on broms, l finished settingup my 36 high with broms with very fine serrated edges. Don't know what species, for my future Leucs. Should I be concerned? I'm new to the hobby.
@TroyGoldberg not going to lie Troy, I was super close to getting one of his tanks and stumbled onto your channel and just used your tutorial to build a 36x29x36 eurostyle. You saved me a lot of money and I'd love to get you a coffee lol
You’ve got a talent! Don’t stop these videos. They’re quality!
Thanks man!!
The cinematography is on point
“Sounds like a little duck that won’t shut up.” 🤣 great video. Beautiful frogs and footage. I’d love to see your Rio Colubres featured.

Epic dude! its looking so grown in. I need to get more into Vivs!
Thanks!!
Please go into more detail about using the calcium gluconate and ringers lactate. A tad/froglet health video would be super helpful! Love your videos!
Yeah I plan on doing a video about that all together… for this video I needed to be a bit general since this is just an in-depth episode on the Vivarium…

I was sold right after that first shot, this is some quality stuff.
Magnifique 🔥
Amazing video and loving the series, I would love to se the in depth of the oophaga lehmanii or the oophaga sylvatica San Lorenzo
Nice content. I’m a new subscriber that found you through Dave Kauffman.
Always love your videos, great work. Have been watching for a few years now just don't comment but feel I need to instead of just lurking.
The video is awesome! Could you do your Ranitomeya viv for the next one maybe?
Dude you just got a new subscriber.
Just discovered this channel thanks to Mike Tytula, definitely not disappointed! Inspiring stuff here.
Thanks Mike is my homie!
Amazing video, but I really love that thumbnail. So slick :)
cep at it
You make this Hobby look so easy lol Such a bad ass Viv man.
Hahaha thanks my dude!

So relaxing to watch, love the vids, how much does it cost to build something like this
Great video, thanks for providing links that don't take me to Amazon.
Weed need the ringer video

I would love to se an in depth of oophaga pumilio río colubre at some point please
Do you have a video on plant placement ?
One of the best channels to have to stumble upon, great job. What would you say is the least noisiest species of frog?
Thank you! For dart frogs, tinctorius is very quiet
How do you grow non epiphytes on the filter foam? Do you wrap the roots in something or put soil on the foam etc?
Do you think I could make one with wood? Maybe using regular picture frame glass/ acrylic to waterproof or even bare plywood with the foam and sealant? I’m thinking it could be a cheaper alternative to buying the terrarium or making one with the thick glass.
Can dwarf isopods be added to a vivarium that only has filter foam and no dirt?

I blame you Mr. Goldberg! Every video I watch now when they say "bioactive" I now find myself repeating "BIOACTIVE" in extra enthusiastic deep announcer guy voice!
Hahaha, thank the biodork for that
I come from the salt water aquarium world so I'm used to having a "bioactive" component. We just refer to them as our tank janitors and clean-up crew.
Broski I'm craving another video. Don't be stingy now lol.
Hahahaa
Im curious what you do for fertilization.
Nothing
I was told Protean was pronounced pro-tee-in. Not that it matters lol. Stoked to see that tank and would love to see the modification
I always say stuff wrong… it’s kinda my thing
@@TroyGoldberg Latin is a dead language anyway lol. You’re still the GOAT!
Hahaha life rips!
And just keeps on rippin
Stoooooopid viral
Did you mention what kind of lights you’re using?
Ty
I think it could be skylight pro || RH
Also wondering.
a little duck that won’t shut up 🤣🤣🤣
What about the sylvatica tank?
I plan to do one
I have a question for you. I'm looking to make a paludarium out of two book shelves i have on my TV stand. What would you use to wate proof the inside of the shelves?
I’ve never done that before. Tanner from serpadesign has done numerous builds out of wood id message him if I were you
Troy, you mentioned spikes on broms, l finished settingup my 36 high with broms with very fine serrated edges. Don't know what species, for my future Leucs. Should I be concerned? I'm new to the hobby.
It’s really only a serious concern for large obligates, Leucs should be fine
Hi Troy, quick question re water, is the chloride (25mg / L) in bottled water safe for use with amphibians?
Ummmm I would think so many people use ages tap water, I use RO and spring
I just want to know how do you drain the water under the drainage layer
I have the tank drilled, and I have a 1/4” bulkhead fitting with a 1/4” line running from the bulk head to a bucket, with ball valve on the end of it
@@TroyGoldberg I see, thank you for the reply
Troy when are you coming back😭😭😭
Soon
Where did you go Troy?
I’m still here just been busy with life… I’ll be posting a video reletively soon
You do you. Looking forward to it.
Give me the loot T.
hey i got a question, do you breed frogs commercial or is it just a hobby?
Hobby
Protean terrariums is a scam artist.
It certainly seems like that’s exactly what he’s become…. So unfortunate

@tysonwardleigh2728 awwww I’m glad to hear then man, I’ll take you up on that coffee!
@TroyGoldberg I'll hit you on Instagram when I'm off work so I can get ya one! Least I can do!
