- Munich 2022 saw an astounding day of athletics on day six of the European Athletics Championships. The fans were electric.
The men's and women's 4x400m titles were contested, with Great Britain & NI winning the men's, while the Netherlands secured the women's gold. Gold for the Dutch saw Femke Bol complete her hat-trick of gold medals at these championships.
Late into the evening, Armand Duplantis took centre stage. Entertaining the crowd with his dominance in the men's pole vault. The Swede won a second European gold and set a brand new Championship Record of 6:06m in the process. A magical moment for Athletics.

¡I love Keely Hodgkinson!, her performance since last season has been amazing. I hope to see her compiting many more times With Ating Mu, toe to toe.
Now, on the other hand, it's terribly sad having to watch Gemma Rickie again struggling and loosing the medal in the last 200 mts, Just as it happened last year at the olimpics.
Polaci bravo!!!!
Pravi sloveni!!!
This commentator twice says Kazmarek is the Polish record holder. Can somebody tell him that Irena Szewinska won the Olympics in 1976 with 49'28!! Cannot forgive athletic ignorance from who has the privilege of telling us about it.
Yeah but in that time Poland was still Russia and all those woman’s were full with steroids and other uppers , these polish woman are clean as a whistle 👍 So I personally think this is a true record and not some record from be for the iron curtain periode 😘
Sorry Cees Van der Schoot, but you are wrong. So-called the Polish People's Republic was a Soviet vassal state, but In contrast to the Soviet Union or East Germany a state-sponsored doping program did not exist in Poland. Just compare Polish, Russian and East German achievements in the track and field from the 80s. Poland didn't have athletes such as Olha Bryzhina, Marita Koch or Jarmila Kratochvílová. Irena Szewińska started her career in the early 60s and never failed a drug test. She is widely considered one of the most successful and multi-talented athletes of all time
Impressive that you didn't include in day 6's highlights, 20 Km women's walk race and Ntrismpioti's second gold medal in these games!
Я люблю лёгкую атлетику!
But no RUSsia!
🌷🥇
Please make these highlights like the continental tours where they actually show the whole race. 100m’s of an 800m is not enough! And save time by skipping all the times at the end

Can the commentators try and pronounce Bol's first name correctly?? It's NOT pronounced Femkay or Femkee. It's pronounced Femka. Aaaaarrrrgggh. It's not hard
