If Rowan really wanted another child after losing her's, there was another way to do that and it would be perfectly legal..........it's called adoption.
She just said in this clip that her husband had assault charges. There goes the option to adopt (I am in no way justifying this fictional woman’s actions)
Along with the other good arguments already given, in order to adopt they would have had to reveal that their own son was dead. They would be in exactly the position they were trying to avoid: letting the authorities know that they had killed their son, because (she says) the police would not have believed it was accidental.

No one deserves someone else's child only if that child is being abused or not treated right I haven't seen this one yet I hope it's good it looks pretty good for the most part
No. No one deserves someone else's child ever. Not "only if," not "unless," not "except when." Never. Now, the CHILD may deserve to be removed from a/an [insert appropriate concerning adjective] situation, but that does not"entitle" any one person to be the one to do it, especially not someone who didn't look into the situation, to say nothing of even talking to the sister
sidney fulin if a child is being abused or neglected it needs to be reported and investigated. If warranted, the child or children need to be removed so they are safe. steph marie yah, kinda feel sorry her character died on Shameless but I feel more sorry 4 Fiona and the kids. They never had a chance when it came 2 Monica and Frank.
This is like that Lea Thompson episode, where her character tries to steal her dead daughters sister who was born to another family due to a mixup at the fertility clinic
What that fertility doctor did was no accident…they had statements from several current and former employees of the clinic that stated the doctor would not only implant one couple’s embryo into another woman on purpose, without checking to see if the other family was ok with it, he would also forge paperwork to cover his tracks and when he was finally busted he tried to claim that he did what he did was only to help those couples to have babies…but he did it to pad his pockets and raise his status (a single round of IVF can cost as little as $10,000 if not more than that) and if he’s able to help couples get pregnant then word will get around and ppl will want to use his services and he’ll make more money but in the Lea Thompson episode he stole not just one of her embryos he stole 17, 10 of which were implanted in other women which resulted in the births of two more daughters and a son I mean who knows how long he’d been doing it and getting away with it
Compared to the last few episodes, this one actually kept my interest from the beginning to the end. Other than a few good episodes (The incels, "the flying Dutchman" & this one are by far my favorite episodes), this season has been very hit or miss & lacking.
Agreed, this season has been better than the last few seasons. If this storyline had been done a couple of seasons ago, it would've been turned into a gay vs. straight agenda with the evil person being a straight, white Conservative who didn't believe that gays or lesbians should have children. I'm glad they just kept it as a pervert and his evil, entitled mom.
@@Ghostwriter14 Yeah, but do you think in this episode it makes gays look bad, because they won't let their daughter testify? I saw the episode, it was basically about her son who died falling down the stairs when her husband pushed her down with her son behind them and the one she raised on her own who was kissing 17 years took that little girl because he missed his sister so much and wanted to hug her. Both Rowan and Kevin were traumatized so they should be set free and given therapy to help get their lives back on track. At the end, nobody was a true criminal. A mother missed her son so much and the one she raised missed his sister so much
What if she also abused him, does her trauma excuse that? Trauma can be a cause. It is not an excuse to ruin other people's lives and families. She was the trauma for so many other people purely because she felt entitled to take a child away from their family. The reason doesn't matter. The actions do.
Kudos to Olivia. She's absolutely correct. No one deserves someone else's child. Not even adoptive parents *deserve* to have the child they adopted. The child deserves to have a good home. If the biological parents can't provide such and put up the child for adoption, the adoptive parents are receiving a gift. A gift they don't deserve. but a gift that is freely given. And the fact that they didn't steal the child protects them from criminal charges. Take a child without parental consent and you can expect to be prosecuted for kidnapping. Assuming the parents don't catch you first. That could elevate it to a capital crime. I know if someone had stolen one or both of my kids and I found out who did it, they would be dead, Dead, *DEAD* with no remorse from me. He/She shouldn't have taken my child.
