Mine after 35 mins in oven never dried completely and were slightly rubbery. 45 seconds in the microwave turned them into puffy pork rind texture and crunchy! Expanded 2-3x larger. Delicious.
The rubbery is the issue. I did the same with beef and it turned out to become a disgusting rubber material that was not dried completly and startet do mold after a week.
@@StayFitness After 5 months I was able to get my hands on a food processor and now the chicken chips are baking in the owen! I forget I was supposed to use thighs so I made it from fillet instead.

I will make these often, I can't wait to try some melted cheese on them - thank you I really love your videos they are so easy to follow and to the point.
Question: No Judgement, but you said you enjoy a few veg. Have you though about why you do? Is it from previous experiences? Is it from taste, is it just memory of good times when eating veggies? I am truly curious.
I am going to buy a meat slicer today and make my own carnivore crisps out of a chuck roast because who can afford carnivore crisps? This is amazing I'm going to do this with chicken, thank you for the brilliant idea. Can you do one with pre packed ground chicken . I want to skip that step with the processor im lazy to wash the processor each time try it like that please
I can try, but even with cooked chicken I would still need to bled it to achieve a paste, if I just spread ground meat on a tray I'm not gonna get chips out of it!
I have a recipe on my channel trying out this recipe with beef, check it out! Btw so sorry for responding so late. My life has been a bit messy since having a baby :)
These are a great idea, I subbed, I have a food dehydrator, have you tried this, I just ask because I definitely want the crunch, also can you use other meats ?
These are made of chicken so in order to be safe to eat you would need to heat them over 165.2F. Dehydrator won't reach that temperature so be careful please :)
Thanks for the recipe! I love the simplicity of getting a protein rich crunch on a carnivore diet. My question is, do yours ever feel super dry in your mouth? I did a variation tonight and added an egg with a couple tablespoons of powdered egg whites, but still… pretty dry when chewed up. I’m using skinless chicken thighs. Any advice? Thanks!

Welcome o to my channel and thank you for subscribing. These chips need to be baked at low temp so if using air fryer make sure you use a low temperature as they need to slowly dry. I use the oven at hot air flow but I think it would work both ways.
Hey there 👋🏼 Thank you so much for this recipe. Do you you think that we can make meat flour by grinding these crisps? We could save so much money if that was possible 😊
yes you can. there are several people that have vids on this. From here I would say take chips and grind in chopper. then set back on tray and put in oven on low heat to dry it out more. Then maybe put it back into the food chopper to make it as fine as you need/want. Chicken is one of the best (vs beef) 'so far' in making a flour or bread like substitute.

50 minutes!
How long would they last in a zip lock out of the refrigerator and also out? Thanks
You can keep them out of the fridge, they do last for quite a while like beef jerky.
What kind of potato flavoring do you think I can use? To give potato flavor without carbs. Thank you
