- Liu Jingru is a well-known older generation Cheng style Bagua Zhang practitioner from Beijing. This documentary was compiled in 2014 and I have fully subtitled it and dubbed parts of it, as well as added relevant info for the international community to enjoy. I will be releasing it in three parts.
In part one, Liu Jingru discusses parts of his history and some history of the art of Bagua Zhang, a gem of Beijing.

Never heard this story of him knocking out Yin FU TOOTH. I read countless books, Sounds gross and doesn't sound like Dongs character. Liu JIngru Bagua is sweet, BUT WHEN IT COMES TO Cheng Style SUN ZHI JUN walking was sweeter . And he was from Chengs village. You ever met him ? ,I MET HIM BEFORE? HIS DANTIAN HE COULD MOVE LIKE A BASEBALL AROUND HIS STOMACH., AND IT WAS HARD AS STEEL. . I ONLY MET ONE OTHER MASTER WITH THIS SKILL..
The story of Dong knocking out Yin Fu's front teeth is quite common knowledge in bagua Zhang. My own teacher told me the same thing years ago, and in fact it is said this is why Yin Fu grew that mustache, to hide his missing front teeth. It is said Dong used chuan Zhang to do it, and hence why Yin Fu focused heavily on this technique. I have met Sun, and it's a different lineage to Liu.

@@gjvinegroovin6015 Hi no I never seen it, But I just watched the fight scene, It was funny thanks for sharing. But for me knocking someone tooth out is not high level. Dont get it twisted I know Dong was amazing, He created Bagua and back then no t.v so he practiced a lot, Im sure he could of sent Yin Fu flying instead. I am old school and the books and magazines I read were written in the mid 90s and early 2000s, My favorite stories are from Sun Lu Tang, and Yang Lu Chan and Dong Hai Chuan but I dont like this one and Gu Ruzheng he killed a horse with his Iron Palm true story and Dong feng xi I might be spelling his name wrong but he killed a Russian wrestler with his palm strike, And it is a true story and u can watch a movie called Prides Deadly Fury about this Bagua Master . So for me true skills is being able to hit someone in the body, and make him spit blood or hurt his internal organs, or just playing send him flying , Not bragging but I can do these skills. I practice a very very rare Internal Iron palm, I live with a family up in the mountains next to Wu Dang Temple. The goal is to be able to place a book on a wall hit the book and when u remove the book there is a big crack in the wall.
