The second part of my $45 Frontier Airlines trip was to head straight back to Chicago on the A320neo. It was an early morning flight and having been up for almost a day straight at that point, I pretty much slept through it all. For the price paid, I was totally satisfied with the experience mainly because I knew what was coming.
Be sure to read up on everything regarding low-cost airlines and how they operate before flying them. You really do not want to end up paying $100 for your bags at the gate because you didn't read the fine print!

I discovered Frontier in 2021 and wish I had given them a chance sooner. My bf & I took 4 trips in 2022 and paid less than $300 for all of them combined. We always use small underseater bags. We bring our own food, drinks, and have movies/books downloaded for entertainment. Can’t beat the prices.

Oh my gosh exactly! I don't get why people are always comparing it to American or Delta its a budget airline for a reason! To me its my favorite airline like you said can't beat prices!

10:20 I departed from that same exact gate where you arrived into!! GATE M18 was the gate when I was traveling with Emirates in May 2022

As per my previous comment on your trip south, my questions were answered--no Amtrak or CTA Blue lIne footage or a 'wander' of the Echo Concourse at ATL--"This video ends here" you say! Does Frontier have gates at both Delta and Echo concourses since you arrived at one and departed another? Being up for 22 hrs,I would've been a zombie--add in the travel time on the Blue line and your morning Amtrak run south to Champaign, arriving roughly around noon--it would've been a miracle for you just to get home without collapsing! It seems the foreign carriers' gates at ORD are being compacted what with SWA, DL and Frontier operating out of the M gates

Good question, honestly I couldn’t find a difference in comfort but amenity wise American has the better seat of course.

I didn’t have any issues however the gate agent in Atlanta came off as rude sometimes.
