Having ridden both 390 and RE 650, few things I noticed.
    1. The power delivery on the 390 is more aggressive like a wheelie machine. But because there is more torque in the 650, you feel the engine trying to pull more.
    2. Vibrations are more apparent in the 650. The 390 is more smoother in this regard, especially at high revvs.
    3. The brakes are ever so slightly better on the 390.
    4. The handling characters are completely different. 390 is more agile and can flicked around much easily. The 650 feels a bit top heavy in comparison and doesn't offer confidence around corners.
    5. Gear shifts are more seamless in 390. In 650, the shifts doesn't happen that fast as you want it to, especially downshifts.
    6. Because the seat is narrower in 650, you cannot spend much time riding. The seats are comfy and wide on the 390.
    7. Suspension is stiffer on 390 in comparison.
    Top speed (speedo indicated) on
    390: 168 kmph
    650: 175 kmph

Vikas bro, I have a Duke 390 2017 Model, have ridden it for more than 53k now, and I have maintained the engine very well, when you are making a video on how to maintain 390 engines I can may be contribute about my experience for last 6 year, the bike looks still brand new, accelerates better than new BS6 390s even now and the engine sound is same as new. I stay at Hakimpet very near to your place. Looking foreward for your invitation, would be my pleasure to talk to you.

    Sorry sir .
But pillion comfort is far better in 390 adv as compared to interceptor..
Pillion footpeg position is horrible in interceptor whereas in 390 adv its really useful and practical...
But engine smoothness is way better in interceptor...

I have RR310. There is no problem with the engine knocking in it at slow speeds. It does 15 kmph in 3rd gear easily. Better and easy to ride than 390 ktm.

Agreed, happens in 390s coz of that exhaust. It's choking the bike, not letting it breathe out. Decating will solve the issue. But its downside is emissions I guess.

Anna handsdown🙌 for this expert opinion. Was waiting so long for this information.
I own adventure 390 2022 model. Very happy with my purchase.
I am getting 30 kmpl in city & 33 kmpl on highway. Heating issue is very less compared to Duke & rc due to dual radiator fans. My brother own interceptor 2022 chrome model. Actually I feel interceptor is more hotter than adventure 390. I am able to ride it with my boxer shorts in city also except in peak summer of hyd 😁.
I am planning to install red rooster exhaust removing resonator (black box) + fuel x pro + K & N air filter + dyno run. I want to get more sound as bike doesn't have sound presence for its size. I am scared whether it will damage the engine drastically even after fuel optimizer.
If it doesn't drastically effect the life of the engine I think it should be worth it for the fun it provides.

Ohh guys don't think the 650s don't heat up I have ridden my friend's GT many times and to be honest his bikes heats up more than my 2017 RC 390 which is shocking right?😂. And on GT particular you can burn your legs when you try to lock your knees on the gas tank. Then again my bike is old and his bike is a year old now. And I swear to God I'm not lying.😂

Crank weight differs. RE interceptor is a railway engine while KTM 390 is Gulfstream. Both need Pilots.Ones a loco pilot others a commercial nibbi. One chugs around mowing down elephants other flies and goes up in flames. Not literally Tomahawks.

No Royal enfield ever made is for high speeds or spirited riding(unless tuned /customized professionally to do so) . They are for liesure rides including the 650 twins. In india people mistake them for superbikes just by their engine capacity..thats the main problem.
