Bought the INT650 after watching your review. Coming from a scooter I probably would never have considered a 650cc twin as my first bike if not for your review. Took a test ride, fell in love with it, was lucky to be able to convince my dad. XD Been six months and I'm loving it more each time I ride it, all thanks to your precise bike reviews.
It definitely gets hotter than other Royal Enfields and Dukes but when you learn that is how hot the middle weights get, it's fine. If you decide to ride it wearing shorts and flip flops you will not be able to ride it confidently because you will conscious of the very hot engine touching your legs. I get about 23-25kmpl in city and 28-30kmpl in highway.
The best thing is that always your reviews are honest I do own a GT and I completely accept with you The stock tyres do suck , if there's gravel or rain , we have to be very careful with these tyres You are the only vlogger who spoke about tyres actually 🤘🤘🤘
I just got the delivery and I have to say upgrading from a unicorn it doesn't feel like much of a big upgrade while speaking in terms of controllability. Of course the power is there but if you stay below 3k rpm then it's really controllable and easy to ride. After 1st service I ripped it upto 120 and you don't feel like the bike is unstable at all. The attention is real a lot of people have come upto me and asked about the bike.
Same goes for me brother, I upgraded from Yamaha fzs and this bike have controllable power throughout the rev band. I skipped the duke 390 and got this since duke has as crazy power and that was scary for me

Malayalam: "ninte kundi valuthanenkil, seatinu veethi poraa" Strell inte translation "If you feel that you are more attractive from your back" Sooper Bro!!! Loved the review. I use a int 650 since jan2019. It was an upgrade from Cl500. My points: It's not a daily ride bike like Classic500. Not as comfortable especially for pillion. It's is 40kgs more heavier and it feels so too. City Fuel efficiency can drop to is 18-20 if used for short city runs. Heats up as strell mentioned correctly, do not ride wearing mundu, shorts or even trousers. Jeans ok. Initial torque is felt much more in Cl500 in first gear. This is because cl500 first gear is much lower. But as a weekend bike for those who enjoy pure unadulterated biking it's a unbeatable package. Great Engine. Awesome sound. Shockingly fuel efficient on the highway. Got 34kmpl on a 250 km non stop trip from kodungallur to trivandrum. Classic500 used to give me only 25. The only issue I faced was with the error in fuel guage. Which I have learned to live with.
Hey great review !! I own a interceptor 650, just want to point out, given strell has been using it only for 3 days, i have had mine for over 8months now, from mine and several other reviewers opinion the gear box and shifting is very smooth on this motorcycle, given i noticed a big chunk of the improvement after the break in period and the first service of this motorcycle, unfortunately he stresses that its closer to the 350's and 500's but i would disagree strongly. As for the riding position, i am 5'6, strell too is on the shorter spectrum if i am not wrong, yes the reach to the handle bars is a bit of a stretch, but that issue can be easily fixed with handlebar risers. In regards to the exhaust, from my knowledge if you buy slip on exhausts for the interceptor, you do not really need to get air filter change and ecu update, the stock ecu adjusts the airflow and fuel mixture accordingly, automatically. This bike is on a whole new level of bike quality from Royal Enfield.
Yes right. No ecu update n air filter change. Kind of plug n play even for ss moto 2 by 1. The exhausts are too huge and contributes to the huge width on the back is my only concern! :(
I am riding the interceptor for the last one month.. strell review is honest. one thing I like to disagree is on the power and it is good.. strell is used to riding powerful machines so the power might lag for him. most of us who are not used to riding powerful machines will find this bike powerful and sufficient.

Hey Strell, great video as always. Coming from an R15, do you think this would be a good upgrade in terms of power? Would I be engaged with the 650 even after 2 years. Hi Narman, check for a different handlebar itself if that is useful for you. Raisers are good when you ride a light motorcycle. A different handlebar itself is suggested when you ride a heavy bike :)
Excellent review. Two things, first the brakes are best in class even better than duke 390 (the stopping distance) as it comes with steel braided lines and second the gearbox is butter smooth.
