They do have a septic system however the field is some distance uphill. So I wager you are exactly correct. Conceptually it’s a sump pump in my head. Fluids enter the sunken vessel, at a certain level pump evacuates, my head thought sump pump and likely out of customer understanding they even labeled the breaker for that sump pump, reconfirming my incorrect mindset 😂. I appreciate you teaching me that it may technically be something else. I’m definitely gonna do some googling now and find out 😂. Thanks Ken!!
@@restaurantrepairs We had a house at one time, that had a similar pit with a pump down in it, on the property, for sewage effluent. due to the leach tiles being located higher ground then the septic tank. That the reason why i wonder it being for something different then sump water. Plus the fact there another manhole in that shed, with nothing electrical in it.
There are NO original problems. Everything you could ever come across has been seen before and likely documented including the resolution. I wasn’t classically trained in anything. I spent most of my young family life unable to hire a professional if I had issues, so I learned to find a way. I entered the restaurant scene and spent the first 3 years learning by failing. After acquiring the basic principles I started actually getting some “education”. Common sense and RUclips - the death of the tradesman.
Another very happy customer
Did it ever trip again? I'm having the same issue. I cleaned it out and it worked again but two weeks later it tripping breakers again
Yes. Months later I ended up replacing the pump.
Great video, thanks.
🎉
Is the customer on a septic tank or has a grease trap? This look like more of an effluent lift pump then a sump pump. But then again i could be wrong.
