I will now question whether every door is spring loaded
Why not just rebuild the compressor I had a coworker who used to do that all the time
How many hours did this compressor swap out take with all the headaches?
There’s a ton of behind the scenes headaches that didn’t make the video. It was 3 hours billable time. Literally should have been 1.5….. but it happens.
Final destination
Glad it worked with nylog. Usually having both surfaces real real clean and oil will do the trick but sometimes it’s needed. Least you didn’t change a barrel like me today… keep on rockin 🍦🍦
Never will you hear of me changing a barrel… 😂
It went sideways but you got back on track👍👍👍👍👍👍
I would love to say I have never put a blazing hot brazing rod in my mouth, but I would be lying 😅. Now, when I braze, I make sure I only use one side of the rod so I know which side is the hot one. Sometimes, when you get wrapped up in trying to fix something, your mind doesn't have enough computing power to waste on irrelevant things like self-preservation 😂😅. Nice job. Those blast chillers can be a pain in the ass.
Great repair joe 👍
👍👍👍
No receiver, no accumulator, no pressure safeties….. like what the hell?!?
that absorber will leak again its installed incorect ...
@itsprimetime9865 - well that’s no bueno… do tell. I just copied what was there. Told you I hate semi-hermetic… She’s getting an overhaul before too long anyway so I’d like to optimize the whole thing.
@@restaurantrepairs what do you mean overhaul? and i hate semi's any size if possible i install hermetics or scrolls... its cheaper too... that vibration absorber is suppose to be near the crank of the compressor i probably would of just made a loop from soft and eliminated those elbows
Given her predecessor died at 4 years old, she had blown her charge yet had no means in place for a safety shutdown. That thing is a blast freezer so she runs at ridiculous low pressures on the regular. Slugging liquid back to a semi is horrendously damaging. Im scheming an accumulator and pressure control as a loss of charge safety, at which point I wanted to heed to your wisdom and redo the shockers if they need to be adapted.
@@restaurantrepairs well you can install a pressure control but if it runs at ultra low pressures? you could also invest in a reciever and solenoid at the same time... a suction accum is cool especially if you can get a heat exchanger type cut the discharge and re direct i mean if she's a budget type person .... also if its possible to remote the condensing unit would be a good thing or atleast the condenser death a 4 yrs old is way too soon
What a fucking horrible design. Gas fired equipment is so trash. U used to work for a Taylor distributor fixing Taylor ice cream machines and Henny Penny shit. Fuck I don’t miss it at all.
❄️👍🇺🇸💪 nice! I like that charging setup
Already tracked this place down just like the salad feet place, time to call OSHA on this place boys 😎
undo it, fixed
EZ-PZ, Nice fix👍
What pressures is that running at? Is it 134a?
It’s a cap tube so 140/with an 18-24 degree coil. Whatever that maths to
Nice one. I would have taken it outside to work on, but thats just me.
I came there pre open so I didn’t have to. Fortunate it was a one and done with the solder laying down
👍👍👍
Nice set up, I work out of a nv200 lol
The other van in our company is an nv200. It’s a short one but otherwise that’s a solid rig.
@restaurantrepairs great warranty on Nissan, it's a shame they stopped making them. All vans are hard to come by. I just picked up 2 used nv200's with 70k miles for $22,000 each. Wtf They cost that much new!
Oh buddy, the world runs on “one day that’ll kill someone- hope it’s not me” and it’s terrifying
That's 'Final Destination' waiting to happen
Hi, I was wondering. Where are you based out of?
North Georgia
@@restaurantrepairs nice, I'm in ft lauderdale Florida. It's hard to find good techs to hire down here. I'm on the phone as tech support all day. Do you have issues up that way?
@Trumpdog1 exactly the same. I hire good people and then spend the way too long it takes to grow them in knowledge. Yea I’m on the phone all day as well with my techs helping them
RIP to future thee.
He is making that stuff up, it should not cycle off early
Don’t blaspheme
Good job brother
Awwwwwwwwwwwwrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyte! <3 :3 😂
A plastic sheath for the spring where it goes around the corner would help a lot.
it will just be fine dude and you'll get a slap. it will break when you open the door but will not hurt coz it attached to 1 end still
This looks exactly like my kitchen. Don’t have the spring but the same door and my favorite place to be in the summertime 😊
Wont take your head off, probably enough power to break a cheek bone or your nose definitely destroy your eye whilst breaking the bone around the eye socket 😬 but take your head off. NO 😅 but still extremely dangerous
Reminds me of a shelf on my 1 and only day working at tolden coral 😂 a shelf where they stored all cast iron pans was missing a bolt and bent in the middle cuz of it, i just watched the safty video about saying something so i mentioned it lol they ignored me... no i wasnt fired i couldnt go back for dofferent reasons but still i wonder how long till that shelf colapsed with all thoae cast irons haha
Why do I sense a Final Destination here.
The door closer should do it's job, as long as the hinges are in good shape and an employee pushes the door somewhat closed. That spring is a liability
Supco Bullet piercing valve, model BPV31, is the single best solution to every situation, only hacks cry foul when the see them, they are perfection.
Yet they were both leaking…. Perhaps when hacks install them they always seem like the problem 😂
It’s like you fix one thing and the machine decides to break something for you to fix. Has anyone accused you of sabotage? I tell them it’s not my fault. It just happens.
That story gave me the imagination of Final Destination.
Did I see a line tap valve on the discharge line? That will leak anyway because of the heat of the line.
that is why always better to put it at crotch height
Charging tee's from supplyhouse will save you a few inches on your swivel tee apparatus
Bless you in Hotlanta.
Did you say you slid in under the fryer? Nice job.👍 Now about the a/c. lol
My wedding ring has hung me up more then once. Nice job👍
I’ve never been happier to be only 5’5” in my life 🥲
I wore a wedding ring for a month. Been in my drawer for 25 years.
Nice fix 👍👍👍
