@@TheDevnul indeed!! I mean you ask anyone, even a toddler about ZZ Top and they will say "La Grange" but dude! It's a whole f band you should explore their other songs too!! That's why I like this playlist
@@pacovl46 it's a completely different context. First of all, music preferences vary from person to person. Secondly, people should explore more and more songs, there are so many beautiful yet underrated songs that are available. And "popular" is a manipulative system. Overused doesn't always mean it is deep and meaningful, sometimes it is just for the sake of the algorithm. If I'm a RUclipsr I'd cover Hotel California solo instead of Chet Atkins because this would help me with my views. As simple as that. For example, a lot more people know about Nikki Minaj or Cardi B songs and not even half of that number knows about Roadhouse Blues by The Doors. So, next time you try to spread your silly little wisdom somewhere, think twice before writing.
@aghoriguitarist764 I wasn't talking about youtube's algorithm. I was talking about music in general and it's a simple fact that most of the "popular"rock songs have contributed more than the unpopular song because they were heard by a lot more people and therefore have inspired more people. There's a reason why the big names in the business name mostly other big names that came before them as inspirations. You almost never hear them talk about some obscure band no one has ever heard of. So next time before you reply with a silly, salty comment, take some reading comprehension classes!
Huh. Hear Comes The Tears was a strange choice for Priest. I don't mean that as a complaint - that song is a banger. I'm just surprised you used such a deep cut from an album that not many people are familiar with. Which is a shame, because Sin After Sin usually competes with Defenders of the Faith as my favorite Priest album Edit: Fuck man, you included Manilla Road. This is a good list.
Cool video bro 🤘 though i was waiting for what Pantera riff would be used and I get "walk" ugh 😩 but besides that and not even playing the awesome riff in "doctor, doctor" I approve ,👍👍
Great video. Enjoyed the variety in song choices, bands and genres. Only minor complaint, why choose About A Girl for Nirvana when its a hard rock/metal tab video? Any other song off Bleach would fit better 😅
No actual possible way you are wearing an iron maiden soundhouse tapes shirt, I was literally searching online for that exact shirt earlier today, what in the possible odds does that happen. I was just playing along and then I saw that and my mind was exploded
Killer! What notation software are you using? Looks like Guitar Pro, but idk how you get the hybrid notation with the rhythm on the tab 🤔. Anyway, keep up the great work!
very Nice!!! Black Flag or Bad Brains (or both) would be more on point to the theme of the video than a Ramones tune...not dissing the Ramones...just seemed way out of place.
That for sure is a list. I do think that music might have kept going after 1998. An alternate title might have been "Rock songs I like and can play on guitar.".
I'm watching on mobile phone, bur I still hear something is off with the sound in video. It's like overdriven over the top, starts crackling.(feels like it is jumping over the red bar if you know what I mean). Can you please check? First I thought I was delusional, but when I heard familiar tones I started hearing this oversaturation. It's like volume is too high and distorted
I like the fact that you intentionally excluded all the predictable overused songs
That’s what I was coming to say. There are a few well known tunes, at least for me. But I think his song choice is what made this interesting.
@@TheDevnul indeed!! I mean you ask anyone, even a toddler about ZZ Top and they will say "La Grange" but dude! It's a whole f band you should explore their other songs too!! That's why I like this playlist
Nonetheless the overused songs contributed just as much, probably even more than the ones in this video.

Your taste in music is something else. I hadn’t seen anyone put so many good bands in just one compilation!
Thank you for your comment and for sharing the same taste 😊!
Awesome deep cuts, I walked away learning about a ton of new artists, bravo
Glad it helps showing some unknown music
Awesome collection of songs!
06:32 S.A.T.O. is from Ozzy's Diary Of A Madman (1981) though.
Yes exact. Thank you!
Outstanding! This inspires me to pick up my guitar and learn some riffs 🎸
Thank you! That’s the goal of my channel 😊 🔥
A very nice songlist man, congrats, sounds amazing

(mention spéciale au magnifique t-shirt HeroQuest ❤)
Merci pour le compliment et pour l'avoir remarqué !
The song selection is insane. 🤘

Superbe vidéo et un bon panel de morceaux pour en savoir un peu plus sur le hard rock … et toujours une belle maîtrise de tout ça Bravo Guillaume ❤
Merci Marie, content que tu l’aies appréciée
Thank's man! 😃 This was awesome. 👌And it gave me inspiration. Glad advent. 🙂
Glad you like it and find inspiration here!
Thank you for the Video. I play guitar like a goat on the accordion, but thanks to you every day I get a little bit better
Good luck in your journey!
Thanks for putting Sortilège in this list, criminally underrated band!
Yes 👍🙏, there are some underestimated bands here, like Sortilège! Cheers
I love the outfit changes between songs. Very nice touch
Thank you for sharing your impression
Et bien quelle performance ! et quel travail ! 😅 Bravo Guillaume 🎉🎉

Yes I like so much this song and the album « Sin After Sin » that I couldn’t avoid it! Also Simon Philips on this one really shines. Cheers 👋
La sélection tue du début à la fin. C'est là qu'on voit la qualité suprême des riffs en 1980, on a jamais fait mieux.
J’avoue avoir apprécié particulièrement jouer la période fin 70s et 80s
Thank you, that was so good! Lots I'd not heard of. Wish I'd had this when starting out 30 years ago.
You're welcome. Glad you like it
Show No mercy is realesed in 1983
Yes, exactly.
I wasn’t anticipating Cromlech; but my ears were thrilled
You have good taste!
9:15 it looks very similar to “When the smoke is going down” by Scorpions
Cool video bro 🤘 though i was waiting for what Pantera riff would be used and I get "walk" ugh 😩 but besides that and not even playing the awesome riff in "doctor, doctor" I approve ,👍👍
Yes, that was an obvious one. There are some obvious ones here and there.
Excellent selection and between-riff transitions 🔥
Thank you for the feedback, glad you enjoy it
Great video! I'm curious though, how do get all the backing tracks for each cut?
Excellent !
Merci !
Great video. Enjoyed the variety in song choices, bands and genres. Only minor complaint, why choose About A Girl for Nirvana when its a hard rock/metal tab video? Any other song off Bleach would fit better 😅
Thank you, it's just l like that track, just a question of taste.

I subscribed to your channel. I hit the notification bell 🔔 I smashed a like 👍 on this video 📹.
Thank you 😀
Génie total et absolu

Cheers from France!
Gracias!!! 🎸🎸🎸
😀 🎸🔥
Hey Guillaume, j'ai repéré une petite erreur: S.A.T.O est sur Diary of a Madman, pas Blizzard of Ozz ;)
Salut Pierre, oui en effet. Merci !
Killer! What notation software are you using? Looks like Guitar Pro, but idk how you get the hybrid notation with the rhythm on the tab 🤔. Anyway, keep up the great work!
Guitar Pro ! Cheers
Bonjour pourquoi dans la tablature certains accords sont entourés?
nice!!
Thanks!
No Helter Skelter?
waouw bravo belle culture rock !
Merci pour le retour !
très bon choix, il manque juste 1 titre d'Artefact pour être complet !!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘Remember Wacken !!!!
Ahah, merci !
Based on finding as many that sound the same as possible?
You did 20th century. Now time to do 21st century.
Thunderbust = The ides of march?
Yes, almost the same.
So many are Unknown, I m wondering where you ve been seeking them? I love Guitar but about 5 mn I M so Bored???oO
🎉🎉🎉
😀
what gear you used for the first wave of black metal songs? Hades etc?
Marshall JMP 2204, Boss SD-1, Celestion G12 65
Metal Heart = für Elise ?
The solo, which is played by Accept’s guitarist Klaus Hoffmann, uses the tune of Beethoven’s für Elise
Yes, right
Thunderburst (Samson) and Ides of March (Maiden) sounds very similar. It' s a cover or plagio?
I think Steve Harris from Maiden is credited as one of the writers for the Samson song.
En 17', fallait le faire !, marathon à l'allure d'un 100m !
Il a fallu se reposer après !
🤘😈
🎸
😀🎸🔥
Where is Accept Balls To The Wall?
Sweeeet!
🎸🔥
Over The Wall 1987*
Testament- Over The Wall Was Released In 1987 not 1986
is it possible to tell the story of black metal or thrash death?
I know it’s not guitar centric but did you ever watch the film Metal: A headbangers journey!
Helter Skelter and I Want You (she so Heavy)??? 😶
💓👑💓
❤🔥🎸
Back to Back isnt a Hammerfall song!?!?!
Guillaume strikes again!
Thanks. Cheers
Appetite for destruction came out in 1987 not 88
Yes, exactly
Did you stop at 98 because rock died the very next year?
very Nice!!! Black Flag or Bad Brains (or both) would be more on point to the theme of the video than a Ramones tune...not dissing the Ramones...just seemed way out of place.

Как можно было так мало сыграть Judas Priest? 🤦🏻♂️

I had the privilege of being the 666th like.
1986 without master of puppets…. Incorrect
Decadence Dance lol
