Thanks for being one of the few creators today talking about AX rescue. I was disappointed we didn't make last weeks goal, but jumped in today to Procyon to help ferry refugees and advance the needle on retaking our systems. T8 seems perfect for the job, thanks also to Atlas Rand for his advice. Space truckers get out there and contribute please!
awesome video i lost my best ship 3 times i was stationed at daedulus logged into find myself 100's lighgt years away along with my fleet carrier... keep up the good work Cmdr o7
I Just bought my first Type 8 after watching the previous video because I’ve never done rescues. A couple of cheap rebuys later and it’s now a piece of cake. Though entering and leaving stations can be a little tense. Bullets are coming everywhere. Anyway, thanks!
I was in Colonia with the carrier when it started acting weird, all week between the 9-5 grind, 40-something jumps! But hey at least I'll get ground loot for the suit mods I wasted time trying to unlock! I also got a shock out there when I did the apex shuttles to find out that engineer lives back in the bubble! I can visit her at least. OH YEAH! Then there's that whole - "save earth" dealie! I've got 3-4 carrier jumps to hit the bubble tomorrow night, that should leave a couple of hours to try to splat bugs. I usually want to space passengers, my bet is at least one of them asks you to go to a rendezvous halfway through the evacuation. But we're past midnight here in GST and that 9-5 has one day left, o7 to all you commanders carrying the torch through the night.
Wether your Empire, Federation, Alliance, or independent, Earth is our home. I call all Commanders to help in any way they can. If you can't fight, help get civilians out. If you can fight then help protect those getting the helpless to safty. Today we are no longer separated by which power we support. Today we are one people defending our ancient home.
This is why you don't play in open, simple fix. Especially when there are likely to be enough CMDRs to cause traffic jams going in and out of the station.
@@chrisdunford2346 they make the game interesting. Or should i say they put the "dangerous" in Elite Dangerous. For the record i am NOT a ganker and never have or ever will gank anyone. But this thing of going on youtube to cry about it is way way wayyyyyyyyyy lamer than anything a ganker can do.
I'm not outfitted to fight thargoids but at least I'll rescue as many people as possible. I switched to my krait so I can be more tanky when I'm being shot at.
Friend and I went to one of the outer edge goid controlled systems and killed a bunch of scouts and interceptors around the station under attack there. I always see people going on about ECM for the missles, but that's to prevent target lock no? Heatsinks accomplish that as well, while being multipurpose, best way not to get blown up by the 'goids is run cold and run fast. I use an economy cabin evac Orca for that, 507 cruise speed with around 640 boost gets you out of danger real quick; it also runs around 16-17 heat thanks to engineering; it's fast, surprisingly agile for it's size, and makes escaping 'goids a breeze.
If YOU are there you to get relocated to a rescue ship. If your fleet is there you can just summon them as usual from the ship hanger. I moved my 5 ships from Wang City to Ashby that way. I wasn't docked at Wang City but all my ships were there. A few thousand cr and 5 mins later we're together again.
No worries! If you want to help, evac, check this out: ruclips.net/video/IPJ45r66Qjc/видео.html If you want to do your first AX combat, check this out: ruclips.net/video/M8xZlbd3anA/видео.html Good luck and o7 CMDR!
This is the most difficult end of combat so don't think too badly about it. Make sure you I insure your ship. Don't take on interceptors until you are kitted out for them
Just to be clear, the invasion is basically a big black smokey cloud? Yes I realize they destroyed a bunch of star ports in a system I haven't visited in years, and the area is probably all caustic now, but has it, done anything? I don't really know what invasions in this game, actually do, besides disabled stations at the end of the day, and make it more dangerous to be in a system.
The black cloud is hiding the Titan Cocijo. Presumably that designates Sol now as a complete no guardian zone without the anti guardian zone engineering mod, that is, unless you engineer your guardian tech to not fry it’ll blow up when you enter the Titan system.
The cloud isn't the scary part (though it is caustic). The huge, hulking Titan inside it, and the huge invasion army that came with it is the scary part.
The fact you have to look up youtube videos and guides to know how to fight and evade thargoids is kind of BS, do I really need to have ECMs and everything if I'm in something like a Krait? Preparing to fight thargoids and loading up your ship with AX weapons really cuts your jump range
Not at all! If you want to help, evac, check this out: ruclips.net/video/IPJ45r66Qjc/видео.html If you want to do your first AX combat, check this out: ruclips.net/video/M8xZlbd3anA/видео.html Good luck and o7 CMDR!
Goto an AX Combat Zone. You will be with other pilots smacking Goids so your survivability will increase dramatically and it's a lot of fun. Get AX multicannons and Thermal Vent lasers if you can
Actually there is one golden rule against Thargoids. Stay cool, Stay cold. No matter your piloting skills they will hit you, you cannot outmaneuver them. There are 3 ways: 1. Engineer your ship to be below 20% threshold (20% is the golden standard). 2. Use heat sinks to temporally make them loose lock. 3. Use long range with thermal vent. I like turreted beams as they can fire automatically. What really matters is your temperature meter, it takes experience to know when it is safe to trade heat for damage. In an antixeno combat zone you always want to make your thermal vent working and avoid unnecessary boosting. For example I hop from one goid to the other. And go follow the lead disco ball. Also. If defensive during interdictions use ECM to counter their missiles + heat sinks. If you are truly desperated at low hull you can trade module damage for hull damage by going silent running and boosting away. There are 2 piloting tricks though I can share. 1. When you want to desengage and the goid is faster than you, like a basilisk. Go face him and boost close to him and try to make a run. You make him turn and if he looses lock in that moment you have a window to escape.Even if he does not loose lock that is the best. This is actually a real life fighter combat trick. 2. If you want to escape at low hull (very low hull), boost and make a barrel roll input, (flight stick to the corner, or mouse to the diagonal) ,engage flight assist off and leave it there and hands off the controls, you will fly away in a continuous barrel roll, and you cannot be shut down immobile. Also you may engage silent running after the flight assist off, then you are close to impossible to hit and you drift away. Also as you are in flight assist off the heat accumulation will take way longer as you do not make any flight inputs. The last skill is how to remove caustic here I do not explain but just point: - caustic sinks - burning the ship with silent running

Awesome! Keep it up and thanks for watching! 🙂
The fact that there’s a hurricane on the surface of Earth directly under the Titan 😅
Nice landing pad o7

As a fellow Colonia citizen I did the same but a month earlier. Where is your home in Colonia?

My Fer-De-Lance is ready, soloed my first cyclopes tonight. Let them come
I just unlocked the corvette, idk how to outfit it though. I want to get in and help the fight though.
I really loved the ganker sitting inside Galileo station to plasma ram rescue ships when they are docking
I heard about that in the chat when I was on earlier
It got me too.I joined the AX cmdrs private group after that. I wonder what mental issues gankers have

Ever gone near the damaged reactor of the station? It not only looks cool but also sounds violent.Freakin love it
I'm parked on Saturn's moon. Gonna defend there for a while.
Time to fit my gunship for Thargoid combat Commander...
Any suggestions on what to put on the large hardpoint

Couldn't join the fight yesterday. But I will join today. Will be doing Ax combat on both surface and space station. Glory to mankind.
For earth we will fight
hard to get to galileo now... heavy thargoid interdictions !
Have they increased the rewards for rescuing people since Cocijo entered the system?
What happens to all of the ships of anyone at a lost station
They get shuttled around to the nearest station that isn’t lost or under attack iirc. You can always do a ship transfer to a safe port of the ship.
If YOU are there you to get relocated to a rescue ship. If your fleet is there you can just summon them as usual from the ship hanger.
I moved my 5 ships from Wang City to Ashby that way. I wasn't docked at Wang City but all my ships were there.

Dropping into this system in a viper is ROUGH. Armor up if you're going in!
Do I need a specific ship to go to look ? I have the sol permit, but I'm not a fighter. Thanks :)
My Anaconda will be here fully equiped with AX equipement and Guardian equipement This fight will the last
The goids have destroyed several mega ships
I'm a noob and got destroyed trying to help😅

I'm SO SICK OF THIS SPACE PLANT BS!
"Rescue as many survivers as would fot on my ship"
More like: rescue as many survivers as 20 missions will allow witch is seldom more than 100 :-(
I lost my fuel/ repair ship
How so?

I would love be part of this, but I guess it would take me 5 years to get good. 🤦🏻♀️
You don't need to be able to solo an Interceptor to help fight'em. There'll be tons of AX pilots out there fillin' in Goids to help you, too.
