    I received some abused birds from a smoker who really did a number on these poor babies. They inhaled so much secondhand smoke they were shaking so hard going through nicotine withdrawal and sneezing alot. Luckily I have purifiers that helped them recover faster and ensure they get fresh sun and air.. They were also afraid of food and hands as they were lured with food and hit for being noisy. You should have to take a basic knowledge test before adopting ANY animal and no pet should be adopted out to house smokers. Birds are the most commonly abused animals we've rescued. Birds are noisy it's part of who they are animals are not toys or playthings. The company that made Teflon illegally dumped on a man's land and killed ALL his cattle with their product and the cows insides were black from drinking the tainted water and the company never was punished . There are plenty of videos on why Teflon should be banned. These small animals at our mercy deserve so much better.

      People just want money, they think that these budgies are toys which will help them get money. Have they ever thought if they were so small and helpless what would have happened to them? Thanks you did a great job.

    Last budgie I bought from a pet shop which had two workers who smokes inside the pet shop, the budgie had the cigarettes smell in it, I could smell it if I get near the cage and it took some time for the smell to go away after lots of baths and interacting with vegges with beautiful smell such as mint.
    The budgie is healthy now and having a good life with her fellow budgies.
    Her name is Fairuz ❤😆

    Watch for falling object dangers whenever your budgie or other bird is out of the cage. I had a budgie die years ago because she landed on a bookshelf and pulled a loose book out. It fell over and hit her and broke her neck. If you have birds keep them a safe distance from shelves with heavy objects and also don't let them chew your books to bits, they want to believe me.

    Hi I am Sanjeev i am 15 I have been watching you channel since three years and your videos are really useful. Iam having a pair which raised baby budgie on last clutch about 2 months ago and iam
    Not satisfied on the size of baby budgie I mean it is active and healthy but does not have appropriate size of a grown up budgie chick there is no vet for birds and not only this time two years ago I was petting another pair in the same cage and they too resulted in the same size chick which I got this time I don't know whether it is because of the earthen pot because it has less space inside or nutrition in both the cases I have been providing good nutrition and clean water .And Luckily now the mother laied eggs soon after the that chick came out and now iam having 3 chicks , 2 chicks are 3 week old and one is 2 week it (hatched lately).i thought i have to go for hand feeding to raise my chicks but the problem is i don't find time to feed my chicks because I am busy on my school about 8 hours on my school I can feed in the morning and evening and night only NOW MY QUESTION IS
    CAN I CO PARENT MY CHICK I MEAN CAN I HAND FEED (BABY PREMIX) AND WHEN IAM NOT AVAILABLE LET THE PARENTS FEED CAN DO THIS,DOES THIS APPRCIATABLE
    PLEASE REPLAY

      Maybe try a different or larger container that they can perch upon or have a bath in, like a shallow dish with a depth of about 2 inches of water which gives them enough room to splash around in with water deep enough in a wide enough container to really have a good splash around in. Birds love being able to have a good old bath in clean water which then acclimatizes them to start drinking the water either in a separate container or by your frequently changing the water so it is safe to drink in. Birds generally love to splash around in water which of course is essential to maintainig their cleanliness and grooming their feathers.

    Hello guys I need your help with something
    I got a female budgie she's 3 months old but she get scared so fast that if u just walk by her cage she'd just freak out..so much that her feathers are getting out because of the freaking out and she's not even molting
    I tried putting her up high for 2 weeks yet still the same thing and now I putted her cage next to my other budgie{kookie} so she might have company and get braver and still the same thing is happening
    Also she have a wing that its feathers are longer than the other one
    What can I do? What should I feed her to grow her feathers back

      Have you told any doctors?

    • @maryamnaeem9687
      @maryamnaeem9687 2 года назад +1

      Okay. You need to keep your budgie in a more quiet room where not much people come and go. Try to go closer to her cage but only as close so that she won't freak out, and try to increase it day by day. Keep her on the same diet that she previously had. Don't make any sudden movements around her. It'll take her quite some time to trust you. In my opinion she may have been badly clipped previously as from your comment it seems like her wings are not the same size. Improper clipping of wigs can cause balancing issues for birds. She might also have some trauma. Keep a check on her health. Don't keep her up high or down on the ground. Keep her at eye level. If she was kept in a flock previously you can play budgie sounds to calm her or to get her to chirp and sing. She'll get better soon
