They made a huge change from 23 to the 24! The tank has a blue stripe instead of a red stripe😉😄 I’m loving my 23, takes me pack to pure riding without all the electronics.
I never got why they build it the way they do. The XR650L is in my opinion a downgrade from the XR600, it has less power, the suspension is worse both and off road and it's heavier.
Because the xr600 was an off-road only bike, I had two or three of them and one or two of the 650s and the 650 is way better on road and on the freeway. I also had a couple of the old Kickstart only XL 600, they were pretty good for the day but Yamaha XT 600 was a bit better
Speed is overrated . Balance and torque will get you there . Speed lol . I've seen the majority KTM riders doing the same speed. I'm doing 40 45 mph on easy trails and rocky terrains. Yeah, I have to slow down . Clearances not there with high speed . But that's fine . I wish I had the power to pop up the front tire to avoid some hard hits to the front tire and to alloy opps some opticals .

everything is fine, but unfortunately the motorcycle is not available throughout Europe - which is sad for me personally....
Tengo una, vivo orgulloso😅
Does anyone know if new ones are fuel injected? I can ride at ocean level and mt level all in the same day and carb just cant handle that elevation change.
Not fuel injected
I have no idea, why this bike is no longer sold in Australia.
I dig the ole affectionately known big red pig. That said the only place it out dual sports the KTM 690 is price. The 2019+ 690 is hands down as better bike in every category.
Is it carbureted or fuel injected?
Carb
So is 7k overpriced?
I have one
I have one. It's a beast. Way too much bike for you to ride
I love this bike, but from my experience "easily get up to highway speeds" is a stretch
i have two xr250 am traying tonget xr650.
I got a 98 with over 20k still riding
They made 650’s in the mid 80’s
I'd like to see 1 supermoto'd out!
had a 1998 650l...
kick myself everyday for selling it...hoping to get a 2024
They made a huge change from 23 to the 24! The tank has a blue stripe instead of a red stripe😉😄
I’m loving my 23, takes me pack to pure riding without all the electronics.
That thing is the height of the north twin tower lmao
XR650L has high ground clearance
Can I have one please it would change my life 😢
It’s funny that particular motorcycle is born before you yet you explain all its functions and capabilities 😂😂
SOLD !
I have a 2006 with all baker mods
gas tank is too small for trips and desert riding. Klr has almost 6 gallons
Did he just say the tank will give you good range? "will get you there"
You have to be 7 ft tall to saddle it.
Love the bike but it's too tall for me
5ft6in and up is fine for this bike, I'm 5,11 not a problem. my brother is 5.5 and it fits him better
Try sitting on a Suzuki dr650 in the showroom, they feel way smaller and soft suspension sinks it down even lower when you sit on it
Wish my dad never sold his
Seat hurts the ass and that gas tank will have you on reserve in 70 miles. Lol
I'll never sell my 93.
Suzuki DR650 is bit better, love those bikes though
Name a dual sport that is lighter than the XR650L that is equal in displacement or more.
I'm a Honda fan as well
Tw200
Ditch the front fender.
What kinda psychopath brings the 650l on a motocross track 😂
Too small of a gas tank 2.Whatever gallons
