I've had XMR 700 since June and I love it I 1258km on it right now Knock on wood I haven't had any problems with it yet and I drive it hard. It's the best bang for the buck on the market right now.
I got a 570 Polaris. Big tires and couple mods. No problem having a dam good quad. Don’t always need a 1000. Also have a Yamaha 700R for a fast rip. Best bang for you buck
@@neilwade3119 I think the OP was referring to the curb weight of new ATVs which are commonly over 800 pounds these days. Even the 570s a pretty hefty machine.
My son has one owned these things for 5 years. If it can think of any upgrade on this platform he has done. It. Even running nitrous this past year. (Stock bottom end) it’s a beast. Runs 34” assassinators they will brake everything in the driveline. Oem parts or after market.
That's one thing I have found cable work for me and my friends and rope just don't last long and my friend broke his rope on the first time he needed it, he using cable from now on.
I have many of the same opinions about the bike. I added a linq back rack, then a packout plate on top of that; a synthetic winch rope; heated grips; better tires (I find the cryptids great for sand when reversed, but they're a disappointment everywhere else). A tune and exhaust suck the fuel down even faster, but really wake it up. I took the giant footpegs off. Never had a problem with my pre-filter falling off; sounds like a unique anomaly. I can't bear to change the look of the front end; no rad relocate for me. That said, the little grille pops right out for easy washing. Not good enough in the skeg, perhaps; but it works if you have water around (I've thought of making a super soaker part of my gear for radiator cleaning on the trail 😂).
I hear a lot of bad things about the winch I literally installed my 3500 on my 850 outlander. haven't use it yet but I'm not trying to replace it anytime soon 😂😂
The units we get are typically short-term loaners so we are required to return them to the manufacturer. Sometimes we buy a unit and customize it, but usually they're on loan.
New subscriber!! Looking for a 2-3 seater, UTV with a dump bed on a “budget” (under $15k), splitting time with off-roading and hauling logs on my lane. Any recommendations??
Welcome! Not sure if you're looking for used or new or shopping in Canadian or US dollars. Have you taken a look at a Ranger SP 570 or a Defender DPS? Both good machines for work and play.
@@dirttraxtv thanks for the response! I was looking new and in US dollars. Started leaning towards something like the Honda Pioneer 700 Forest with the factory Warn VRX45 winch. I’ll start comparing and going through your channel!
Thinking of building a arctic cat 450I and motor swap with the firecat 1000 motor. Let's line them up someday, if it can't beat my yamaha raptor 770cc with a plus 3mm intake valves and plus 2mm exhaust valves 105.5mm cylinder and piston, full Hinson clutch, EFI controller and high compression piston, plus it's geared to the moon. If it can't beat that in a drag, not worth building for me. I live in between arctic cat and Polaris industries. 🤫🫣
Please keep up the long-term update series

What a great show
Great video and Awesome Renegade 🥰. Biiiiiiiiiig Like 👍 ❗
Appreciate that!! 👊🏻💥🎉
Great video! I can't wait to build my renegade up!
Wish polaris and Canam could keep them a little lighter
Had a sportsman roll on top of me. Pretty much broke half the bones in my body 😂. They define need to weigh less

Actually a Small Battery powered pressure washer might work drop the water hose in a lake or any water stream and have at it lol
@@LITMMlol it might!
Definitely need to experience that Canadian skeg
Great videos guys, really good info!
Appreciate that!
Awesome review guys! 👍

I wonder that they do with all these atv's/sxs's after they test them

@@dirttraxtvI'm sure he's talked about the manufacturer.
And I'm sure he's hoping to get one cheap😂.
Can you please do a video on a can am maverick sport xmr 1000r
Wish someone would come out with a Milwaukee pack out rack for sportsman’s like they do can am.
Going in 2 hrs 24 mins to pick up my 2024 wooohooooo

Be cool if they made a 1000 xmr hunting addition
That’s what the defender XMR is for. Perfect for hunting (especially waterfowl)

Yeah, holy cow do you guys say "Yeah" a lot. Cool video though.
Yeah, we do 👍
Use USA made plow steel rope.
It won't let you down
If in doubt, cut to meaningless slow motion or wheelstands🤣
Renegade is the only atv I know and ride
