One of my fave songs from the 2nd album. Rhoda was great with Terry.

I will always love Terry and Rhoda but not together, but on their own they shine. Rhoda was superb in the Special AKA and Terry was one of the greatest vocalists of all time who hit human God level at certain times. R.I.P Terry.

This is amazing. I started going to gigs when I left school in 1984. One of the first venues I went to was the hope and anchor in Islington. I am guessing this is the same place. I used to go there quiet a lot. It was probably the biggest dump I ever attended, but in a good way. The place was very small but had a great atmosphere. I am surprised the Specials played there at that time of there career as they had already had chart success. This must have been an amazing gig. All the best gigs I ever went to were all in small venues like the hope and anchor , Dingwalls , the Dublin Castle , the Sir George Robey and the Clarendon hotel basement.

Loved your comment, made me laugh. I met one of the Skrewdriver bassists at last year’s Skinhead Reunion in Brighton. Fun fact: British Movement produced some “Specials minus two”pin badges back in the Two Tone days.

1960's muzak reggae ska. Sadly the song ends too soon while that organ muzak melody was being played and the song is also being played too fast.
Gigs you wish you had been at!!!! H&A sound always dodgy until 3rd song but they are lovely x
