This was so incredibly clear and helpful...you have no idea. I finally understand what thr gurus say by pre-launch and build pressure/excitement. Thank Gawd I found your video. Your new groupie ...out 🎤
Hi! Thank you for your videos! They've been very helpful :) I'm watching this one again and I couldn't find the app you talk on the minute 18.40 (to determine the best hours to post), what was the name? Xx
Fantastic, and to answer the question around 16.50 I am loving reels, I hate to put myself on video, but as an artist I can show snippets of work in progress, and parts of my process, and my favourite thing is to create a timelapse video and make upload that to reels. Whole video is so useful Ashlyn - I shall be coming back to this one again and again.
Thank you Ashlyn! Super helpful, but oh my, my head is buzzing right now! Soooo much to think about - all good stuff, especially the 'random hints' toward the end! Love love love it ;D

Great question, Bre! Let's break this down---> The HERO piece of content is the meat-and-potatoes blog post (or RUclips video). The hero piece of content is what the email newsletter drives to. It’s what I’m talking about if I do a Facebook or Instagram live. It’s what has a freebie download is for (if creating one helps). It’s what at least 2 Instagram posts and Facebook posts will “sell.” It’s what’s been keyword researched and optimized for SEO, Pinterest, etc. If it’s a really big promotional period, then the hero content that week is like a challenge or webinar series. The HYPE piece of content essentially is the vehicle that you’re going to use to actually pitch and mention the product, the service that you have. I include a whole list of different ideas inside Primed to Launch™, but this could look like a virtual launch party that you’re doing, a webinar, a challenge, or a video series. There are tons of things out there and vehicles to communicate this to your audience. I hope this helps!! :)
Love this! Do you republish those pre launch content peices every time you launch? Does it get exhausting for say your email list of you do? If I launch the same product 2x a year, would I repurpose the same posts?
@@yensounta6501 Gonna be flat honest ... I don't think they notice. I change some things (ex. pop culture references framing story, formatting, etc.), but I at least use the bones 2 pre-launch pieces 2x-at minimum-before I throw them out and start fresh. At least.
Heather! As it turns out, some of our links are down at the moment. If you shoot an email over to hello@ashlynwrites.com, we will send it straight to your inbox! xx.
My peeps are on LinkedIn instead of Instagram. They usually log in once per week, versus the Instagram daily. I would love to know how would you apply these suggestions from the video in a LinkedIn context. Thanks for sharing!

WHOOP, best of luck with your launch!
Besides the fact that looks like you are on 'speed', this content is amazing. I may have to watch a few times to catch all the tips and points.
Nah, just coffee. ;)

Thank you!
You're welcome, Carl!
So helpful Ashlyn!
About Reels: I don’t love reels that are people dancing around and pointing to words. I prefer straight video snippets.
Bahaha-thanks for sharing, Lindsay! :)
This was amazing thank you!!
Outstanding video! Just what I was looking for! Thank you Ashlyn!
It's my pleasure, Jay! Let me know if you have any questions, ok??

I’m clicking on the FREE Launch Copy & Content Checklist link but it’s not working, says it can’t find that page. ☹️

what's the difference between a hero piece and a hype piece?

Yensoun! This is a GREAT question! I *for sure* re-purpose pre-launch content. Think of it this way: Refresh-Reuse-Recycle. I hope this helps! :)
@@AshlynWrites it does but don't you think people will get sick of seeing the same thing? Like the OG subscribers will feel bored?

I definitely think these principles can be tweaked to accommodate your specific audience! :)
If there are few takers: refund? Retract offer and lose credibility? What is the backup plan?
Hey, Aek! Tell me a little more what you mean-I don't quite get your question (and I'm going to go drink more coffee now!).
Video is very confusing?
Kay-happy to answer any questions you have!
Something is wrong with the content here. It seems like this video was strung together using tiny video's.
Great question, Chris! We went ahead and brought all the pre-launch tips together so that you could easily have them at your fingertips. :)
Thanks for sharing! Great information. I purchased Prime to Launch and it was 🔥🔥🔥
It's my pleasure, Shauntai! :)
Love this video! 👏 I love reels because of the reach. Instagram is awesome when it comes to reach. For me, it's better to use them than to not.
Totally hear you on that, friend! Thanks so much for sharing! :)
