      My question is how do you change focus while shooting? Do you need to power down the gimbal to adjust it and then power back on? Thanks

    Thanks Josh! The thing I hate the most about your videos is watching you effortlessly hold the gimbal with basically just two fingers, like a boss >_<

    Hi Josh, great video 😊👍🏻 i have the Crane 2 now since 2 weeks and i am not ready with the best setup. My biggest problem is the firmware - on my new Crane 2 it is the V 1.75 😯🤔 but the newest firmware on the Zhiyun hp for the Crane 2 is the V 1.73 😩 what can i do? Do you have an idea? Thanks and best regards from 🇩🇪

      Thanks Josh for the fast answer 👍🏻 but on the homepage from Zhiyun is written, that the actually firmware for the Crane 2 the V 1.73 is 🤔 i have the V 1.75 - do you really mean i have the newest firmware? 😉 best regards from a small german filmmaker 🇩🇪🎬

    Hi ! How are you .Thanks for your useful videos. I have a question , I am looking for the reply everywhere but I think the most useful thing is just to ask you directly. I am having troubles using the technique of the moving time lapse with my camera. I manage to get the gimbal moving and every setting to get working. the camera goes to point a to b without problems in the time I say to the gimbal.... but is having a separated shutter release the only option ? As I can' t use the shutter control in the play application , it just does not shoot (im using a Sony a7iii).
    I have an application (Cascable) which allows me to do time lapse without connecting cables to the camera. I tried using that but every time I leave the play application screen, the moving time lapse stops. Same reverse mode, if I leave the cascable application while doing a time lapse and try to do it move from the play application... it just stops shutting...
    So I guess having the remote shutter externally set in the camera Is my only option ?
    Thanks for your help !

    I have a problem going into inverted mode, my crane 2 flips out. Or when going from inverted to normal. I feel pretty good about how I have it balance. When its off, I can put the camera at any angle and itll stay where I have it. Everything Ive watch says that's how you can tell it well balanced. And the other odd thing is when circling someone it sometimes wants to go off to the side on its own. But Im thinking that might be my wrist and maybe the dual handle will help stop that? Any thoughts?
    Thank you for your videos!

    Hello Josh, Great videos. Have you experienced any problem with your Crane 2? I got mine for a little longer then one month and today I have noticed fluid leak under the Thumb Screws of the Tilt Axis and Roll Axis. Should I be worried or is it something normal? Will appreciate your opinion. Thank you.

  • @TheWiseTravellers

    Great video but I have noticed that you change your shutter speed to any value that you need. Many filmmakers recommend using the 180d or 360d rule to shutter speed, your shutter should be 2x ou 4x of your frame rate to achieve the best cinematic motion. What you think about this?

    • @MomentumProductions1992
      @MomentumProductions1992  7 лет назад

      I completely agree with that rule. Since I did not have an ND filter handy, I had to use a fast shutter.

    • @MomentumProductions1992
      @MomentumProductions1992  7 лет назад

      I didn't have an ND filter with me on this shoot, so I had to adjust my shutter speed. But, I usually use the Fotga variable ND filter: amzn.to/2qFO4dr

    great stuff, this video was great, subbed!
    I use a sony a6500 - For those slowmotion shots at the end, semi orbit walking in the water shot, would you always use 100/120 fps for that kind of shot or just go with 50/60?
    Thanks a lot!

    • @MomentumProductions1992
      @MomentumProductions1992  7 лет назад +2

      I prefer 120, since it is quarter the speed. It all depends if your camera can produce good quality super slow motion. If it can, go for the 120 :) You can always speed it back up to 50% if need be.
