Last night my son and I used a live catch cage mousetrap to manually catch a little bugger that was stealing our dog’s pellets. I spotted him in the corner of the cupboard, closed the door, called my son to come hold the door while I went to fetch the trap.
I came back with the trap, opened it, and then my son slowly opened the cupboard. The cheeky mouse was still sitting in the corner giving us the stink eye. I propped the trap up between the cupboard and the bag of dog food, and started shaking the bag.
Mr mouse ran straight into the trap. I simply closed the trap’s door, and had him caught! We took him a couple of kilometeres away from our house, and set him free in the veld.
Easiest mouse catch ever, especially compared to catching that noisy frog in our back yard the other night!
